Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your backup camera, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Image/Incorrect Image Display: If the reverse image is not displayed, or if it's blurry, flickering, or shows horizontal/vertical stripes:
- Verify that your head unit (monitor) supports the currently selected video signal mode (AHD 720P/1080P or CVBS).
- Check all wiring connections to ensure they are correct and secure.
- If you cut any color wires for function switching, ensure you have rebooted the camera's power.
- Parking Line Offset: The backup camera is designed for central mounting. If mounted on the side of the license plate, the reverse line may appear offset.
- Compatibility Issues: This is a universal camera for monitors with RCA connectors. If your monitor only supports specialized backup cameras, this product may not be compatible. Consult your monitor's dealer or manual for specific limitations.
