5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
- Insert one compatible 18650 or 21700 battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.
5.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the flashlight.
- Locate the Type-C USB charging port on the flashlight body.
- Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the flashlight and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., USB plug, power bank, computer, car charger).
- The indicator light on the flashlight will turn RED to indicate charging.
- Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn GREEN.
- Disconnect the charging cable.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
- Power On: Press the power button once to turn on the flashlight.
- Mode Cycle: With the flashlight on, press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the 6 modes: High → Mid → Low → Flash → SOS.
- Stepless Dimming: When the flashlight is on, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate stepless dimming. Release the button at your desired brightness level.
- Power Off: Press the power button again to turn off the flashlight after cycling through all modes or after using stepless dimming.
6.2 Zoom Function
The SV96 flashlight features an adjustable focal length for both spotlight and floodlight illumination.
- To adjust the beam, gently slide the head of the flashlight forward or backward.
- Slide forward for a focused, long-range spotlight.
- Slide backward for a wide, close-range floodlight.
