8. Advanced Settings

Access advanced settings through the 'Setting' menu on the device or via the Smart Life App.

  • Temperature Calibration: Adjusts the displayed temperature to match the actual room temperature if there's a discrepancy. Range: -15~15℃ (-15~15°F). Default: 0°C.
  • Temperature Difference (Hysteresis): The difference in temperature required for switching the device on and off. Range: 0.1~10℃ (0.2~30°F). Default: 1°C.
    • Example: If set to 1.0°C and target is 20.0°C (heating mode), heating starts at 19.0°C and stops at 20.0°C. For cooling mode, cooling starts at 21.0°C and stops at 20.0°C.
  • Cooling Delay: Effective only in cooling mode. If the setpoint temperature is reached, the device waits for a period before starting cooling to protect the compressor. Range: 1~10 minutes. Default: OFF.
    • If the time interval between two cooling operations is larger than the preset delay, cooling starts immediately.
    • If the interval is less than the preset delay, cooling will wait until the preset delay time is achieved.
  • Frost Protection: When enabled, if the sensor detects the temperature dropping to a certain level, the thermostat automatically activates the heating function to maintain a safe temperature, preventing pipe freezing.
  • High Temp. Alert: Set a maximum temperature threshold. If the measured temperature exceeds this, an alarm will be triggered. Range: -30~110℃ (-22~230°F). Default: 110°C.
  • Low Temp. Alert: Set a minimum temperature threshold. If the measured temperature falls below this, an alarm will be triggered. Range: -30~110℃ (-22~230°F). Default: -30°C.

10. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the thermostat is securely plugged into a live mains socket. Check the power supply.
  • Wi-Fi LED is flashing or off: This indicates a network connection issue. Ensure your Wi-Fi router is on and within range. Re-attempt the network setup process via the Smart Life App. The device only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
  • Inaccurate temperature readings: Check if the temperature sensor is properly connected and placed in an appropriate location, away from direct heat sources or drafts. Use the temperature calibration feature in the advanced settings to adjust if necessary.
  • Device not responding to APP/Voice commands: Ensure the device is connected to Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi LED solid green) and linked correctly in the Smart Life App, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant. Check your internet connection.
  • Child lock activated: If the buttons are unresponsive, press and hold the Plus (+) and Minus (-) buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to deactivate the child lock.
