Setup Instructions
1. Inserting the SIM Card
- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Carefully remove the back cover of the device.
- Remove the battery.
- Locate the SIM card slot.
- Insert a local 4G/5G SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned correctly.
- Replace the battery and the back cover.

2. Charging the Device
- Connect the USB Type-C cable to the device's Type-C port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (5V2A recommended) or a computer's USB port.
- The device will indicate charging status (e.g., a charging light).
3. Powering On/Off
- To power on: Slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position, then press and hold the Power button until the indicator lights illuminate.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator lights turn off.
4. Initial Wi-Fi Connection
- Once powered on, the device will broadcast a Wi-Fi signal.
- On your computer or mobile device, search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- The default Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password are typically found on a sticker inside the battery compartment or on the device itself.
- Select the MiFi's SSID and enter the password to connect.
Operating Instructions
1. Understanding Indicator Lights
- WiFi Light: Solid indicates Wi-Fi is active. Blinking may indicate data transfer.
- 5G Light: Solid indicates connection to a 5G network.
- 4G Light: Solid indicates connection to a 4G network.
- Power Light: Indicates power status and battery level (e.g., green for sufficient, red for low).
2. Managing APN Settings
In some regions, you may need to manually configure the Access Point Name (APN) settings for your SIM card to access the internet. If you experience connectivity issues after inserting a SIM card, contact your mobile network provider for the correct APN settings and then follow these general steps:
- Connect your device (e.g., laptop, smartphone) to the MiFi's Wi-Fi network.
- Open a web browser and enter the MiFi's default IP address (usually 192.168.1.1 or similar, found on the sticker).
- Log in to the web management interface using the default username and password (also on the sticker, often 'admin').
- Navigate to the network settings or APN settings section.
- Enter the APN details provided by your mobile network operator.
- Save the settings and restart the MiFi if prompted.
3. Wi-Fi 6 Features
The OFS-SRM115 supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) for faster speeds and improved efficiency, especially in congested network environments. To benefit from Wi-Fi 6, ensure your connecting devices also support Wi-Fi 6.

Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection:
- Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and active.
- Check the network indicator lights (5G/4G). If no light, there might be no signal or an issue with the SIM.
- Verify APN settings (see "Managing APN Settings" above).
- Restart the device.
- Slow Internet Speed:
- Check your network signal strength.
- Ensure you are within optimal range of the MiFi.
- Reduce the number of connected devices.
- Confirm your mobile plan supports the expected speeds.
- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure the MiFi's Wi-Fi is enabled (check Wi-Fi light).
- Verify the Wi-Fi password.
- Try restarting both the MiFi and your connecting device.

- Please note that this device is explicitly stated as "NOT work in the USA" due to incompatible 5G/4G bands.
