- Carefully open the remote control casing.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the remote control casing securely.
No reprogramming is typically required after battery replacement for fixed code remotes.
Troubleshooting
Remote Not Working After Programming
- Check Frequency: Ensure your original remote operates at 433MHz or 433.92MHz. This duplicator is not compatible with other frequencies (e.g., 868MHz) or rolling code systems.
- Clear Code Properly: Re-perform the 'Clear History Code' step (Step 1) to ensure the duplicator is completely reset.
- Copy Code Correctly: Ensure the original and new remotes are placed very close during the copying process. Press and hold buttons firmly until the LED on the new remote flashes rapidly, indicating a successful copy.
- Battery Check: Verify that the battery in both the original and new remote controls is functional and correctly inserted.
LED Indicator Not Flashing
- Battery: The battery might be dead or low. Replace the CR2032 battery.
- Button Malfunction: Ensure the buttons are not stuck and are pressing down correctly.
User Tips
- For best copying results, perform the programming steps in a quiet environment away from other radio frequency interference.
- Always keep your original remote control in a safe place as a master copy.
- If you have multiple fixed code remotes of the same frequency, you can program several duplicators from one original.
