6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Adjusting Charging Current
The charging current can be adjusted between 8A, 10A, 13A, and 16A. Important: The current cannot be adjusted during charging.
- Ensure the charger is NOT connected to your EV.
- Press the 'Adjust Current' button on the control box to cycle through the available current settings (8A, 10A, 13A, 16A). The LED indicators on the control box will show the selected current.
- The charger will remember the last selected current for future charging sessions.

6.2 Starting Charging
- Ensure the desired charging current is selected (see 6.1).
- Connect the NACS plug to your EV's charging port. For Tesla vehicles, you can press the button on the NACS plug to wirelessly open the charging port door.
- The charger will automatically detect the connection status and begin charging. The control box LEDs will indicate the charging status.
6.3 Stopping Charging
- To stop charging, press the button on the NACS plug. This will signal the vehicle to stop the charging session.
- Once charging has stopped, safely remove the NACS plug from your EV's charging port.
- Unplug the charger from the wall outlet when not in use.
6.4 LED Display Status
The control box features LED indicators to show the charger's status. Refer to the table below for interpretation:

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the charger, cable, and plugs with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the charger is unplugged before cleaning.
- Storage: When not in use, store the charger in a dry, clean place, preferably in the provided storage bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Care: Avoid kinking, twisting, or driving over the charging cable. Always coil the cable loosely when storing.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the cable, plugs, and control box for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage. If any damage is found, discontinue use and contact support.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your feyree Portable EV Charger, refer to the LED status table (Figure 11) for diagnostic information. Below are common issues and their solutions:
- Charger not starting:
- Ensure the charger is properly plugged into a live power outlet.
- Verify the NACS plug is fully inserted into the vehicle's charging port.
- Check the LED indicators for any error codes (e.g., Overvoltage, Leakage, Ground protection).
- Charging stops unexpectedly:
- This could be due to one of the built-in protection mechanisms activating (e.g., Over temperature, Overcurrent). Check the LED status for specific warnings.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the control box and vehicle charging port.
- If an overheat warning (Red Light flashing on LED4) occurs, allow the charger to cool down before attempting to charge again. The charger automatically resumes charging when the temperature drops below 65°C and cuts off at 75°C.
- Cannot adjust current:
- Remember that current adjustment is only possible when the charger is NOT connected to the EV. Disconnect the NACS plug from the vehicle, then press the 'Adjust Current' button.
- No power to the control box:
- Check the wall outlet with another appliance to ensure it is functioning.
- Inspect the power plug and cable for any damage.

9. User Tips
- Cable Length: The charger comes with a 5-meter cable, which is generally sufficient for most home charging setups. Plan your parking spot accordingly to ensure the cable reaches comfortably without tension.
- Current Setting: If you experience frequent tripping of your circuit breaker, try reducing the charging current setting (e.g., from 16A to 13A or 10A) to match your home electrical capacity.
- Outdoor Use: While the charger is IP66 rated, it's always best practice to protect the control box from direct heavy rain or snow if possible, to prolong its lifespan.
