Thank you for choosing the Tiansu N4 Series 24-inch Gaming Monitor. This monitor is designed to provide an immersive gaming experience with its high refresh rate, rapid response time, and vibrant IPS display. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new monitor.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Assembling the Stand

  1. Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
  2. Attach the stand base to the stand neck using the provided screws.
  3. Align the assembled stand with the mounting points on the back of the monitor.
  4. Secure the stand to the monitor using the remaining screws.

The monitor also supports VESA mounting (75mm x 75mm) for compatible wall mounts or monitor arms (sold separately).

3.2 Connecting Your Monitor

The Tiansu N4 Series monitor offers multiple connectivity options. Ensure your computer or gaming console is powered off before making any connections.

  • Power: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's DC input and then to a power outlet.
  • Video Input: Connect one end of the provided DisplayPort or HDMI cable to your computer's graphics card and the other end to the corresponding port on the monitor. The monitor features 2x HDMI 2.0 ports and 2x DisplayPort 1.4 ports.
  • Audio Output: If you wish to use external speakers or headphones, connect them to the monitor's audio output port.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the monitor to turn it on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is on.

4.2 Input Source Selection

Use the monitor's OSD (On-Screen Display) menu or dedicated input selection button to switch between HDMI and DisplayPort inputs.

4.3 OSD Menu Navigation

The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Typically, buttons on the back or bottom of the monitor are used to navigate the menu. Refer to the on-screen prompts for specific navigation instructions.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Screen

Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-cleaning solution specifically designed for monitors. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.

5.2 Cleaning the Casing

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the monitor casing. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the surface.

5.3 Storage

When storing the monitor for an extended period, ensure it is powered off, unplugged, and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use the original packaging for protection.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Display:
    • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the power outlet.
    • Verify the video cable (HDMI or DisplayPort) is properly connected to both the monitor and your computer/console.
    • Check if the correct input source is selected on the monitor.
    • Test with a different video cable or port if available.
  • Flickering Screen:
    • Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date.
    • Check the refresh rate settings in your operating system; ensure it matches the monitor's capabilities (e.g., 360Hz or 390Hz).
    • Disable Adaptive Sync (FreeSync) temporarily to see if the issue persists.
  • No Sound from Built-in Speakers:
    • Check the monitor's volume settings in the OSD menu.
    • Ensure the audio output is correctly configured in your computer's sound settings.
    • Verify the video cable is capable of transmitting audio (both HDMI and DisplayPort support audio).
  • Image Quality Issues (Blurry, Distorted):
    • Ensure the monitor is set to its native resolution (1920x1080) in your operating system settings.
    • Adjust brightness, contrast, and other image settings via the OSD menu.

8. User Tips

  • Optimal Refresh Rate: To fully utilize the 360Hz or 390Hz refresh rate, ensure your graphics card and operating system display settings are configured to the highest available refresh rate for the monitor.
  • Adaptive Sync Activation: For tear-free gaming, enable AMD FreeSync in your monitor's OSD menu and ensure it's also enabled in your graphics card control panel (e.g., AMD Radeon Software or NVIDIA Control Panel for G-Sync compatibility).
  • Cable Quality: Use high-quality DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.0 cables to ensure stable signal transmission at high resolutions and refresh rates.
