2. Safety Information

The DUKA ATuMan TR1 uses a Class I invisible laser. Please observe the following safety precautions:

  • Do not stare directly into the laser beam or point it at others.
  • Avoid disassembling the device, as this may expose you to laser radiation.
  • Keep the device out of reach of children.
  • Use the device only as intended to prevent potential hazards.

3. Package Contents

Upon opening your DUKA ATuMan TR1 package, you should find the following items:

  • DUKA ATuMan TR1 Laser Rangefinder Telescope
  • Type-C Charging Cable
  • User Manual (this document)
  • (May include a carrying pouch or lanyard, depending on the specific package)

4. Initial Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

The TR1 is equipped with a built-in 420mAh Li-ion battery. Before first use, or when the battery is low, charge the device using the provided Type-C cable.

  1. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the device.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a standard USB power adapter (5V DC) or a computer USB port.
  3. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 210 minutes of continuous use under laboratory conditions (at 100m distance, normal light level, and 5 seconds/time frequency). Actual endurance may vary based on environment and usage.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually located near the eyepiece or on the side) to turn the device on or off. The display will illuminate when powered on.

5.2 Measurement Modes

The TR1 offers multiple measurement modes, which can typically be switched by pressing a mode button (refer to device for exact button layout). The device provides accurate distance measurement with an accuracy of ±(0.5m + D*0.2%), where D is the measurement distance.

  • Straight Line Distance (L Mode): Measures the direct distance from the device to the target.
