5.2 Wiring

Ensure all power is disconnected before wiring. Connect the input (IN) and output (OUT) terminals as shown in the diagram below. The 'N' terminal is for Neutral and 'L' for Live. When inserting power lines through the L and N terminals, ensure to screw down firmly to penetrate the insulating layer of the power lines for a secure connection.

  • OUT: Protected power output terminals (L for Live, N for Neutral).

6. Operation

6.1 Initial Power-On

After connecting the product, there will be a power-on delay. You must wait approximately 10 seconds (default power-on delay time, adjustable from 1s to 500s). The device will begin normal operation once the red light turns off.

6.2 Button Functions

  • Power Button (⑂): Toggles the protection function ON/OFF.
  • SET Button: Enters and confirms parameter settings.
  • Up Arrow (▲): Increases parameter values or navigates menus.
  • Down Arrow (▼): Decreases parameter values or navigates menus.

6.3 Parameter Setting

To adjust protection parameters:

  1. Press the SET button to enter the setting mode. The display will show a parameter code (e.g., A1, A2).
  2. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow buttons to navigate through the parameters (A1 to A15, R5, R6).
  3. Once the desired parameter is displayed, press SET again to modify its value.
  4. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow buttons to adjust the value.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Display/No Power: Ensure the input power is connected correctly and within the specified voltage range (AC 140-300V). Check all wiring connections.
  • Device Not Activating: After initial power-on, allow for the default 10-second power-on delay. If the issue persists, check input voltage and current.
  • Frequent Tripping: Review your set over-voltage, under-voltage, and over-current protection values. They might be set too sensitively for your load or power supply conditions. Adjust the action and recovery delay times if necessary.
  • Incorrect Voltage/Current Readings: Use the voltage calibration (A13) and current calibration (A15) features to fine-tune the readings if you have a known accurate reference meter.
  • Device Not Protecting: Ensure the protection function is enabled (not manually switched OFF). Check if the fault inquiry (press UP for 12s) indicates any issues.

8. Maintenance

The EOENKK Voltage & Current Protector is designed for minimal maintenance. However, regular checks can ensure optimal performance and longevity:

  • Visual Inspection: Periodically inspect the device for any signs of physical damage, loose connections, or discoloration.
  • Cleaning: Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Connection Check: Ensure all terminal screws remain tight to prevent arcing or overheating.

9. User Tips

  • Voltage Compatibility: This device is specifically designed for 230V AC systems. It is not compatible with 120V AC systems. Using it with an incorrect voltage may damage the device or connected appliances.
  • Setting Defaults: If you are unsure about specific parameter settings, it is often best to start with the default values and adjust them gradually based on your system's requirements and stability.
  • Power-on Delay: Remember the initial power-on delay. This is a normal function to allow the system to stabilize before power is supplied to your appliances.

10. Warranty and Support

For warranty information, technical support, or service inquiries, please contact your retailer or the manufacturer directly. Keep your purchase receipt as proof of purchase.
