5.2. Receiver Connection
Connect the RG209S receiver to your RC model's electronic speed controller (ESC), servos, and other components according to your model's specific wiring diagram. Ensure the receiver antenna is positioned correctly for optimal signal reception.
5.3. Binding/Linking Process
To establish communication between the X9S transmitter and RG209S receiver, they must be bound. Follow these steps:
- Turn on the X9S transmitter.
- Power on the RG209S receiver while holding its bind button (or following the specific bind procedure for your receiver model).
- The receiver's LED indicator will change, indicating it's in binding mode.
- Initiate the binding process on the X9S transmitter (refer to the on-screen menu for "Bind" or "Link" options).
- Once bound, the receiver's LED will indicate a successful connection (usually a solid light).
Important Compatibility Note:
- Older versions of RG206S and RG209S receivers are NOT compatible with the new X9S transmitter out of the box.
- Users with older receivers MUST upgrade their receiver software to the new version (V1.2.8 High Speed Software) to enable binding with the X9S.
- New RG209S and RG206S receivers have a "NEW" sticker on their housing. If this sticker is absent, it indicates an old version.
- The receiver upgrade package can be downloaded from the WFLY official website: www.wflysz.com. Navigate to Support → X9 → Download → WFLY RG206S RG209S Firmware-Old Version Only _ Upgrade to V1.2.8 High Speed Software!
- If you have a "NEW" sticker RG209S receiver and an older X9 radio, you will also need to upgrade the X9 radio to the high-speed version.
