4.1 Pre-Installation Check

Before installation, identify your car's original radio type:

• Style A: If your original radio does not have a screen.
• Style B: If your original radio has a 5-inch screen.

Important Notes for Style B:

• Style B supports the original BOSE sound system.
• Style B supports the original rear camera. If the original rear camera does not display after installation, it may require modification of the camera cable. Please contact customer service for guidance.
• After installation, some functions of the controller next to the handbrake may become inoperable. If this is a concern, please consider this before proceeding.

4.2 Wiring and Cable Layout

The unit comes with a frame and necessary cables for your specific car model. Ensure you provide clear pictures of your original car radio to customer service to receive the correct cables.

For optimal signal reception and tidy installation, follow these guidelines for cable routing:

• USB Ports and SIM Card Slot: Route these cables to the storage compartment located on the passenger side.
• GPS and 4G Antennas: Install these either on the right front portion of the dashboard or within the A-pillar. Position the antenna module's black side facing upwards to optimize signal reception.

5.1 Ainavi UI 5.0

5.2 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

Enjoy wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on A2, G5, H5, and H6 models. Seamlessly connect your smartphone for hands-free control of calls, music, and navigation. Please note that A1 models do not have CarPlay and Android Auto functions.

5.3 Global Positioning System (GPS)

• Handbrake Controller Functionality: For Style B installations, be aware that some functions of the original handbrake controller may become inoperable. This is a known compatibility aspect.
• Audio Hissing & Control Issues: If you experience a hissing sound during music playback or if steering wheel/knob controls are not working, carefully re-check all wiring connections. Ensure that the CANBUS decoder (if included and applicable to your model) is correctly installed and configured. Incorrect wiring or incompatible CANBUS settings can lead to these issues.
• Compatibility: The radio is compatible with Mazda 6 GJ models from 2014, 2015, and 2016. For other years, verify compatibility with customer service.

• Ensure the volume is not muted or set too low.
• If using Style B with an original BOSE system, confirm all BOSE-related wiring and CANBUS settings are correct.
• If a hiss is present, it might indicate a grounding issue or incorrect audio signal wiring. Re-check connections.

8.3 Steering Wheel Controls / Knob Controls Not Working

• Verify that the CANBUS decoder is correctly installed and connected.
• Check the wiring for steering wheel control.
• For Style B, remember that some handbrake controller functions may not be supported.
