2. Initial Setup

2.1. Setting the Time

  1. Gently pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) out to Position 2.
  2. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to move the hour and minute hands until the desired time is displayed.
  3. Once the time is set, push the crown back in completely to Position 0 (normal operating position).

2.2. Setting the Date and Day

  1. Gently pull the crown out to Position 1.
  2. Rotate the crown to adjust the date and day displayed in the calendar window. Rotate in one direction for the date and the other for the day.
  3. Avoid setting the date/day between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this is when the watch's internal mechanism is engaged in changing the date, and manual adjustment can cause damage.
  4. Once the date and day are set, push the crown back in completely to Position 0.

2.3. Band Adjustment

The stainless steel band features a push-button hidden butterfly clasp. For initial fitting or significant size adjustments, it is recommended to consult a professional watchmaker to add or remove links to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

3. Operating Your Watch

3.1. Reading the Time

The OLEVS 2928 features a classic analog display with hour, minute, and second hands. The dial includes numerical markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, with baton markers for other hours.

3.2. Luminous Function

The watch hands and hour markers are equipped with a high-definition luminescent coating. This material absorbs light during the day and emits a glow in low-light conditions, allowing for easy time reading at night. The duration and intensity of the glow depend on the amount and intensity of light absorbed.

3.3. Calendar Display

The watch features a complete calendar display, showing both the day of the week and the date in dedicated windows on the dial. Refer to section 2.2 for setting instructions.

4. Care and Maintenance

4.1. Water Resistance

Your OLEVS 2928 watch is rated for 3ATM (30 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. However, it is NOT suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any water-related work. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting the time or date to maintain water resistance. Important: All watches cannot be protected from warm or hot water, as temperature changes can affect seals.

4.2. Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. For the stainless steel band, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish or seals.

4.3. Battery Replacement

The OLEVS 2928 uses a quartz movement powered by a battery. When the watch stops or the second hand begins to skip, it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the watch's water resistance and proper functioning are maintained.

4.4. Storage

When not wearing your watch, store it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields, which can affect the accuracy of the quartz movement.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Watch has stopped: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it remains stopped, the battery may need replacement. Consult a professional watch technician.
  • Time or Date is incorrect: Refer to section 2.1 and 2.2 to reset the time, date, and day.
  • Condensation inside the watch: This indicates a breach in the watch's water resistance. Seek professional service immediately to prevent further damage to the movement.
