4.3 APP Interface Analysis

The APP interface provides comprehensive control and information, including unlock/lock, function show/hide, heading angle, aircraft battery status, flight speed, video/photo capture, emergency stop, one key return, number of GPS satellites, flight distance, calibration, camera switch, 180° flip, picture-in-picture, VR Mode, speed adjustment, navigation, multi-point sailing, one-click surround, smart follow, headless mode, gesture photo, music, filter, screen rotation, PTZ control, and find a plane function.
5. Initial Setup
5.1 Charging the Battery
The drone uses a 7.4V/4500mAh lithium battery, providing up to 28 minutes of flight time. The remote controller uses a 3.7V/350mAh lithium battery. Use the provided USB charging cable to charge both batteries. Charging time for the drone battery is approximately 4 hours.

5.2 Unfolding the Drone
The L600 PRO MAX features a foldable design for easy transport. Carefully unfold the arms of the drone until they click into place. Ensure all arms are fully extended and locked before flight.

5.3 Propeller Installation
Attach the propellers to the corresponding motor shafts. Ensure they are securely fastened. Refer to the markings on the propellers and motors for correct orientation (e.g., A and B propellers).
5.4 Obstacle Avoidance Device Installation (Optional)
If your model includes the 360° laser obstacle avoidance device, attach it to the designated slot on top of the drone. This device automatically detects obstacles within 20 meters.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Flight Operations
After powering on the drone and remote control, ensure they are paired. Use the one-click take-off button for easy launch. The drone utilizes GPS and Optical Flow dual mode for stable hovering and positioning, even in windy conditions.

6.2 Intelligent Flight Modes
- GPS Pointing Flight: Plan a route on the APP map, and the drone will fly independently along the pre-set path.
- GPS Intelligent Tracking / Image Following: The drone can identify a shooting object and perform automatic following flight.
- Fixed Point Surround: Set a center point, and the drone will orbit it at a specified radius.
- Waypoint Flight: Program specific waypoints on the map for the drone to follow.

6.3 Camera Functions
The L600 PRO MAX is equipped with a 4K HD dual camera and a 3-axis EIS electro-mechanical stabilization gimbal. The camera angle can be adjusted by 90° via the remote controller. The gimbal provides effective anti-shake for clear images.

- HD Aerial Photography: Capture stunning 4K HD photos and videos.
- 50x Optical Zoom: Zoom in on distant subjects for detailed shots.
- Gesture Recognition: Within 1-3 meters of the aircraft, make a 'V' gesture for a photo or a 'palm' gesture for video recording.

6.4 Obstacle Avoidance
The 360° laser obstacle avoidance system (if equipped) allows the drone to automatically detect and avoid obstacles within a 20-meter range, enhancing flight safety, especially in complex environments like flying through corridors or near glass surfaces.

8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Common Issues and Solutions
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drone does not take off. | Low battery, not paired, propellers incorrectly installed. | Charge battery, re-pair drone and remote, check propeller installation. |
| Unstable flight. | Strong wind, uncalibrated gyroscope, damaged propellers. | Fly in calm conditions, perform gyroscope calibration, replace damaged propellers. |
| Poor image quality. | Dirty lens, insufficient light, strong vibrations. | Clean camera lens, fly in well-lit areas, ensure gimbal is functioning correctly. |
| Lost connection with remote. | Out of range, interference, low remote battery. | Fly within specified range, avoid areas with strong interference, charge remote battery. |
| Obstacle avoidance not working. | Device not installed/activated, sensor blocked. | Ensure obstacle avoidor is correctly installed and activated in APP, clean sensors. |
8.2 User Tips
- Battery Management: Some users inquire about purchasing additional batteries. Always ensure you have enough charged batteries for your desired flight time.
- Model Identification: Be sure to verify if you have the L600 PRO MAX or L600 PRO model, as specifications and features may differ. Refer to the comparison table in the specifications section.
