2. Safety Information
- Do not disassemble, open, or shred the battery pack.
- Do not expose the battery to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
- Do not short-circuit the battery.
- Do not expose the battery to mechanical shock.
- In case of a battery leak, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with skin or eyes. If contact has occurred, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
- Keep the battery clean and dry.
- Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.
- Observe all polarity markings on the battery and device.
- The battery features intelligent battery management with overcurrent, overpower, overvoltage, overcharge, short circuit, temperature, reset, and circuit protection.

6. Setup
6.1 Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge your ZGCINE V Mount Battery. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the USB-C PD IN/OUT port on the battery and to a compatible USB-C PD charger (45W+ for ZG-S95, 100W for ZG-S150/S200 recommended for fastest charging). The battery indicator LEDs will illuminate to show charging progress and turn solid when fully charged.
6.2 Mounting the Battery
Align the V-mount plate on your camera or accessory with the V-lock mechanism on the back of the battery. Slide the battery down until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the release button on the V-mount plate and slide the battery upwards.
7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Charging the Battery
You can charge the battery using the following methods:
- USB-C PD: Connect a USB-C PD charger to the USB-C PD IN/OUT port. The ZG-S95 requires a 45W+ PD charger for optimal speed (approx. 3.5 hours for full charge). The ZG-S150 and ZG-S200 benefit from a 100W PD charger (approx. 2.5 hours for S150, 3.5 hours for S200).
- D-Tap/BP Input: Connect a compatible D-Tap or BP charger to the respective input port.

7.2 Powering External Devices
The ZGCINE V Mount Battery offers various output ports to power your equipment:
- D-Tap/BP Output: Connect compatible camera accessories or lights using D-Tap or BP cables.
- USB-C PD Output: Use the USB-C PD ports to charge laptops, smartphones, tablets, or other USB-C powered devices.
- DC Output (ZG-S150/S200 only): Connect devices requiring 8.4V or 12V DC power using appropriate DC cables.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the battery and its ports. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, it is recommended to charge the battery to approximately 50-70% capacity.
- Battery Health: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge it before it completely runs out of power.
9. Troubleshooting
- Battery not charging: Ensure the charging cable and adapter are securely connected and functioning correctly. Verify the charger meets the required specifications (e.g., 45W+ or 100W PD). Check for any visible damage to the battery or cable.
- Battery not powering devices: Ensure the battery has sufficient charge. Check that the cables connecting the battery to the device are secure and compatible. Verify the device's power requirements do not exceed the battery's output capabilities.
- Battery indicator not working: Press the power button firmly. If the indicators still do not respond, the battery may be fully discharged or require servicing.
- Overheat protection activated: If the battery becomes excessively hot, it may temporarily shut down due to its temperature protection feature. Allow it to cool down in a well-ventilated area before resuming use or charging.
