4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to pair your AiYaTo Bluetooth Key Finder with your Apple device:

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Locating Nearby Items (Bluetooth Range)

When your AiYaTo Key Finder is within Bluetooth range (approximately 80 meters without signal interference), you can use the Find My app to make it emit a sound.

  1. Open the "Find My" app.
  2. Go to the "Items" tab.
  3. Select your AiYaTo Tag from the list.
  4. Tap "Play Sound". The tag will emit a loud sound (up to 100dB) to help you pinpoint its location.
  5. Tap "Stop Sound" once you've found your item.

5.2 Locating Far Away Items (Global Positioning)

5.3 Lost Mode

If your item is lost, you can enable Lost Mode to increase the chances of its recovery.

  1. In the "Find My" app, select your AiYaTo Tag.
  2. Scroll down and enable "Lost Mode".
  3. You will be prompted to enter your contact information (e.g., phone number or email).
  4. If someone finds your lost item and taps their NFC-enabled smartphone on the AiYaTo Tag, they will see your contact information and can reach out to you.

5.4 Left-Behind Reminder

The AiYaTo Key Finder can notify you if you accidentally leave your item behind.

5.5 Siri Integration

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Replacement

The AiYaTo Key Finder uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, which typically lasts over a year. When the battery is low, you will receive a notification on your Apple device.

  1. Locate the small groove or opening on the back cover of the AiYaTo Tag.
  2. Use a small tool (e.g., a coin or a flat-head screwdriver) to gently twist or pry open the back cover.
  3. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  4. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  5. Align the back cover and press firmly until it snaps securely into place.

Note: Ensure the cover is properly sealed to maintain the IP67 water resistance.

6.2 Cleaning

To clean your AiYaTo Key Finder, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device.
