- Graphics Card (GFX) Installation: The case accommodates graphics cards up to 350mm in length (without front fans & radiator). Install your graphics card into the 7 expansion slots.
- CPU Cooler Installation: Ensure your CPU cooler fits within the maximum height clearance of 161mm (with TG side panel) or 163mm (with steel side panel).
- Cooling System Installation (Optional):
- Fans: The case supports up to six fans.
- Front: 2x 140mm or 3x 120mm.
- Top: 2x 120mm or 2x 140mm.
- Rear: 1x 120mm (one pre-installed).
- Radiators:
- Front: 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360mm.
- Top: 120mm / 240mm (32mm max motherboard component height).
- Rear: 120mm.
- Fans: The case supports up to six fans.
- Cable Management: The case provides 18.5mm of space for cable routing behind the motherboard tray to ensure a clean build and improved airflow.
- I/O Panel Connections: Connect the front I/O panel cables (USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 3.5mm Headset Connector) to your motherboard. The 3.5mm headset connector supports both audio and microphone simultaneously.

Operation
Once all components are installed and connected, close the side panel(s) and connect your peripherals and power cable to the PC. The MasterBox Elite 500 is designed to provide optimal performance and cooling for your system.
Airflow and Cooling
The case features a wide, unrestricted air intake on the front panel, ensuring excellent airflow for both air and liquid cooling setups. The pre-installed 120mm rear fan helps exhaust hot air from the system. Proper fan configuration is crucial for maintaining low temperatures.
Front I/O Panel
The top-mounted I/O panel provides convenient access to:
- 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports for high-speed data transfer.
- 1x 3.5mm Headset Connector, which combines audio output and microphone input into a single jack.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PC case and its components.
- Dust Filters: The MasterBox Elite 500 includes dust filters on the front, top, and base. Regularly clean these filters to prevent dust buildup inside the case, which can impede airflow and component cooling.
- To clean, gently remove the filters and use compressed air or a soft brush to clear accumulated dust.
- Interior Cleaning: Periodically open the side panel and use compressed air to remove dust from internal components and fan blades. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PC build within the MasterBox Elite 500, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power:
- Ensure the power supply is properly seated and connected to all components (motherboard, CPU, GPU, drives).
- Check that the power button cable from the case is correctly connected to the motherboard's front panel header.
- Verify the power supply switch is in the "ON" position.
- Overheating:
- Confirm all case fans and CPU/GPU coolers are spinning correctly.
- Check for dust buildup on fans and dust filters, and clean if necessary.
- Ensure proper airflow direction (intake fans at front/bottom, exhaust fans at rear/top).
- Front I/O Ports Not Working:
- Verify that the USB and audio cables from the case's front panel are securely connected to the corresponding headers on your motherboard.
- Noise Issues:
- Identify the source of the noise (fan, HDD, etc.).
- Ensure all screws are tightened and components are securely mounted to prevent vibrations.
- Check fan blades for obstructions or damage.
