4. Maintenance
4.1 General Care
Keep the device clean and free from dust. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Always ensure proper ventilation during operation.
4.2 Cooling Fan Operation
The cooling fan operates automatically based on the device's temperature and output current:
- Start Condition: Output current > 8A or System temperature > 45℃
- Shut Down Condition: Output current < 7.9A and System temperature < 40℃
A loud sound from the fan when running at high ambient temperatures is a normal phenomenon.
4.3 Firmware Updates
Firmware can be upgraded to optimize product experience and add new functions. If the device cannot be upgraded in normal mode, you must enter Boot mode to perform the upgrade.

5. Troubleshooting
5.1 High-Frequency Noise from 1500W PSU
When the switching power supply is unloaded, a high-frequency noise may be audible. This is due to the PWM control chip skipping some control cycles to reduce no-load power consumption, which can lower the working frequency below 20KHz. The noise level can vary slightly between units due to transformer production variations. This is considered normal. It is recommended to turn off the AC switch when the product is not in use.
5.2 Output Overshoot
The RD6030W is designed to provide a smooth output curve without overshoot, preventing interference and damage to the connected load.

5.3 Input Over-Voltage Protection
The device incorporates input over-voltage protection to prevent damage:
- Warning Prompt: An over-voltage warning is displayed if the input voltage exceeds 72V.
- Product Power Cutoff: Input power is cut off if the input voltage exceeds 75V, resulting in no display.
The product can withstand an input over-voltage of 100V for up to 1 second.

5.4 Other Protections
The RD6030W includes multiple protection features for safe operation:
- Abnormal Power-Up/Down Protection: Voltage remains stable during power-up, power-down, and switch ON/OFF.
- Reverse Input Protection: Protects against overvoltage up to 100V.
- Output Reverse Connection Protection: If a battery is connected with reverse polarity (red to black), only the fuse will blow.
- Charging Abnormal Protection: If battery charging terminals have reverse connection, no damage will occur. Voltage abnormalities are indicated, and power is automatically cut off in case of full charge/overheating/power loss.

5.5 Accuracy Issues
The device is calibrated with a high-precision multimeter, ensuring product accuracy and stability with temperature drift of core resistors and references less than 25ppm/°C. If you suspect accuracy issues, the product can be calibrated and fine-tuned by comparing with a multimeter.

7. User Tips
- Power Supply Unit (PSU) Compatibility: Be aware that a 1500W PSU provides 1500W under 220V AC input, allowing the RD6030 to output a maximum of 1440W. However, under 110V AC input, the same PSU will only provide 1200W, limiting the RD6030's output to a maximum of 1140W. Choose your PSU carefully based on your input voltage and required output power.
- Avoid Non-Original Accessories: To prevent device damage, do not connect non-original accessories to the temperature sensor, fan, or communication interfaces on the board.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check for and install firmware updates to optimize product performance and access new features.
- Output Ripple Measurement: For accurate ripple measurement, use an oscilloscope at X1 range, AC coupling, 20 MHz bandwidth, with a 0.1uF parallel capacitor at the output terminals.
