7. User Tips
- Neutral Connection: This device is designed for 3 Phase + Neutral (3P+N) systems. If your installation only has L1, L2, L3 phases without a neutral line, this meter may not function correctly as it requires a neutral connection for proper operation and measurement.
- Password Protection: Utilize the password setting feature in the app to prevent unauthorized changes to critical alarm thresholds and operational settings.
- Regular Monitoring: Periodically check the energy statistics and operation records in the app to understand your energy consumption patterns and review any protection events.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Fault Record
The device records various fault events, which can be viewed in the Tuya app. These include:
- Overvoltage
- Undervoltage
- Overload
- Low Current protection
- Voltage Imbalance
- Current Imbalance
- Phase Sequence Protection
8.2 Common Issues and Solutions
- Device not powering on: Check the main power supply and ensure all wiring connections are secure and correct.
- WiFi indicator flashing slowly (offline): Ensure your WiFi router is on and within range. Re-attempt app pairing if necessary.
- Display is red: This indicates the internal relay has disconnected due to a protection event (e.g., overvoltage, overcurrent). Check the alarm records in the app to identify the cause. The device may reclose automatically after the set recovery delay time, or you may need to manually reset it via the app or device buttons if reclosing is disabled or allowed times are exceeded.
- Incorrect readings: Verify that the current transformers (if external) are correctly installed and oriented, and that the wiring matches the diagram.
- Device not responding to app commands: Check WiFi connectivity. If the device is online, try restarting both the device and the app.
9. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and moisture.
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Regularly check wiring connections for tightness to prevent loose contacts.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.
- For any internal repairs, always consult a qualified electrician and ensure the main power supply is disconnected.
