4.1 Package Contents

4.2 Installation
Important Wiring Note: Power must enter from the top and must be a live line + neutral (L+N).
The device is designed for 35MM Din Rail mounting and can be directly installed in household lighting distribution boxes. It features securing clips for easy installation.

Wiring Diagram

This diagram illustrates the wiring for different versions of the circuit breaker. For all models (Tuya WiFi, eWeLink WiFi, Tuya ZigBee), the Neutral (N) and Live (L) wires are connected to the 'IN' terminals at the top, and the corresponding Neutral (N) and Live (L) wires for the load are connected to the 'OUT' terminals at the bottom.
4.3 App Installation
Download the Tuya Smart Life or eWeLink app from your smartphone's app store (available for Android and iOS).
4.4 Device Pairing
To pair your device with the app:
- Ensure the circuit breaker is powered on. The indicator light should be blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Open the Tuya Smart Life or eWeLink app.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. The app will search for nearby devices.
- If the device doesn't automatically appear, you may need to manually put it into pairing mode by long-pressing the on/off button for 5 seconds.
- Enter your Wi-Fi network details (ensure it's a 2.4GHz network).
- Once added, you can rename the device and access its controls.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Manual Control
You can manually turn the circuit breaker ON or OFF by pressing the physical button on the device. The indicator light will show the current status.
5.2 App Control (Tuya Smart Life / eWeLink)
Once paired, you can control and manage your circuit breaker through the app:
- On/Off Switch: Toggle the power remotely from anywhere.
- Remote Control: Control your device from anywhere using your smartphone.
- Timer Switch: Set up various timing functions:
- **Schedule:** Program specific ON/OFF times for any day of the week.
- **Sunrise/Sunset:** Automate actions based on local sunrise and sunset times.
- **Circulate:** Set repeating ON/OFF cycles within a defined time range.
- Countdown Mode: Set a countdown timer for the device to turn ON or OFF after a specified duration.
- Power Failure Memory: The device can retain its last state (ON/OFF) after a power failure and automatically return to it when power is restored. This setting can be configured in the app.
- Voice Control: Integrate with voice assistants for hands-free control.
- Switch Log: View a history of ON/OFF operations.
5.3 Voice Control
The EARU RDCBC Smart Circuit Breaker is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home Assistant. Simply link your Tuya Smart Life or eWeLink account to your voice assistant app and use voice commands to control your connected devices.

Example voice command: "Alexa/Google, Turn On The Living Room Light."
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the device with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the surface or internal components.
- Environment: Ensure the installation environment is dry and well-ventilated. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Inspection: Periodically check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting to Wi-Fi/ZigBee:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. 5GHz networks are not supported.
- Verify that the device is in pairing mode (indicator light blinking). If not, long-press the on/off button for 5 seconds.
- Check your Wi-Fi signal strength at the device's location.
- Restart your router and try pairing again.
- Device not responding to app commands:
- Check if the device is powered on and the indicator light is active.
- Ensure your smartphone has an active internet connection.
- Verify that the device is still connected to the app (check device status in the app).
- If the issue persists, try re-pairing the device.
- Voice control not working:
- Ensure your Tuya Smart Life or eWeLink account is correctly linked to your Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistant app.
- Check your internet connection and the status of your voice assistant device.
- Verify the device name in the smart home app matches the name you are using in voice commands.
8. User Tips
- For optimal performance, ensure a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. 5GHz networks are not supported.
- Utilize the power-off memory function to maintain device state after power interruptions, preventing unexpected changes to your lighting or appliances.
- Explore the various timing modes (schedule, sunrise/sunset, circulate) for automated control of your appliances, enhancing convenience and energy efficiency.
- Regularly check the 'Switch Log' in the app to monitor device activity and ensure it's operating as expected.
