4. Installation
Wiring Note: Power must enter from the top and must be a live line + neutral (L+N).
4.1 Physical Installation
The circuit breaker is designed for 35MM Din Rail mounting. It features securing clips for easy installation.

4.2 Wiring Diagram
Ensure correct wiring for safe and proper operation. The input (N IN L) is at the top, and the output (N OUT L) is at the bottom.


If automatic networking is not possible, you can manually connect by long-pressing the on/off button for 5 seconds to open the network connection.
5. Initial Setup and App Pairing
The EARU Smart WiFi Circuit Breaker can be controlled via the Tuya/Smart Life app or the eWeLink app, depending on the model. Ensure your device is powered on and the WiFi indicator is blinking for pairing mode.
5.1 App Download and Installation
Download the appropriate app (Tuya/Smart Life or eWeLink) from your mobile device's app store (Android/iOS).
5.2 Device Pairing
- Open the app and register/log in.
- Tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
- The app may automatically detect nearby devices in pairing mode. If not, select 'Add Manually' and choose the appropriate device type (e.g., 'Smart Rail On/Off Switch' or 'Socket').
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device to your 2.4GHz WiFi network. Enter your WiFi password when prompted.
- Once successfully added, the device will appear in your app's device list.
6. Operating Instructions
Once paired, you can control and monitor your circuit breaker through the mobile app.
6.1 Remote ON/OFF Control
From the app's main device interface, you can toggle the circuit breaker ON or OFF remotely.
6.2 Timer Switch Functions
Set schedules, countdowns, sunrise/sunset automation, or circulating timers for automatic operation.






6.3 Energy Monitoring
Monitor real-time kWh, voltage, current, and power consumption. View electricity statistics by day, month, or year.


6.4 Protection Settings (Model Dependent)
Set thresholds for various protections. The functional protection and alarm functions are automatically turned on after setting the threshold. The protection tripping switch can be turned on or off.

6.5 Power Failure Memory
The device is able to retain data after a power failure and automatically return to its pre-power failure state when power is restored.

7. Voice Control
Integrate your EARU Smart WiFi Circuit Breaker with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for convenient hands-free control.
7.1 Connecting to Voice Assistants
- Ensure your circuit breaker is successfully paired with its respective app (Tuya/Smart Life or eWeLink).
- Open your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app.
- Navigate to the 'Skills' or 'Works with Google' section.
- Search for 'Tuya Smart', 'Smart Life', or 'eWeLink' skill/service and enable it.
- Link your Tuya/Smart Life or eWeLink account with the voice assistant.
- Discover devices. Your circuit breaker should now be controllable via voice commands.

8. Maintenance
The EARU Smart WiFi Circuit Breaker is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. Keep the device clean and free from dust. Do not use harsh chemicals for cleaning. Ensure proper ventilation around the device.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Device not pairing: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. 5GHz networks are not supported. Make sure the device is in pairing mode (blinking WiFi indicator). Try resetting the device by long-pressing the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds.
- No power to connected devices: Check the circuit breaker's status in the app. Ensure it is switched ON. Verify the wiring connections are secure.
- Inaccurate energy monitoring: Ensure the device is correctly installed and calibrated if applicable (though typically self-calibrating).
- Voice control not working: Confirm the device is online in its respective app and that the voice assistant skill is enabled and linked to the correct account. Try re-discovering devices in your voice assistant app.
10. User Tips
- App Selection: Be aware that some models use the Tuya/Smart Life app, while others use the eWeLink app. Check your specific model's compatibility before attempting to pair.
- WiFi Compatibility: Always ensure your router is configured to support 2.4GHz WiFi for successful pairing, as 5GHz is not supported.
- Protection Settings: Utilize the adjustable protection settings (current, voltage, power, temperature) to safeguard your appliances and electrical system effectively. Regularly review these settings to match your load requirements.
