4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Initial Time and Date Setting

  1. In the normal Time Mode, press the MODE Button (usually on the right side) repeatedly until the seconds start flashing, indicating you are in setting mode.
  2. Press the Light/Adjust Button (often on the left side, or another button depending on model) to cycle through the setting options: Seconds → Hours → Minutes → Year → Month → Day.
  3. While a value is flashing, use the Start/Reset Button (often on the top right, or another button) to increase the value. Hold the button to fast-forward.
  4. Once all settings are adjusted, press the MODE Button again to exit the setting mode and return to normal time display.

4.2 12/24 Hour Format

In Time Mode, press the Start/Reset Button to toggle between 12-hour (with 'AM'/'PM' indicator) and 24-hour formats.

5. Operating Instructions

  4. To resume, press the Start/Reset Button.
  5. To reset the stopwatch to '00:00:00', press the Light/Adjust Button while the stopwatch is paused.

5.3 Alarm Function

  1. From Time Mode, press the MODE Button twice to enter Alarm Mode.
  2. Press the Light/Adjust Button to select the hour or minute to set (the selected value will flash).
  3. Use the Start/Reset Button to adjust the flashing hour or minute.
  4. Press the MODE Button to confirm and exit alarm setting.
  5. To turn the alarm ON/OFF, in Alarm Mode, press the Start/Reset Button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
  6. To turn the hourly chime (SIG) ON/OFF, in Alarm Mode, press the Light/Adjust Button. The 'SIG' indicator will appear/disappear.

5.4 Countdown Timer Function

  1. From Time Mode, press the MODE Button three times to enter Countdown Mode.
  2. Press the Light/Adjust Button to select the hour or minute to set (the selected value will flash).
  3. Use the Start/Reset Button to adjust the flashing hour or minute.
  4. Press the MODE Button to confirm and exit countdown setting.
  5. To start the countdown, press the Start/Reset Button.
  6. To pause the countdown, press the Start/Reset Button again.
  7. To reset the countdown to the set time, press the Light/Adjust Button while the countdown is paused.

5.5 EL Backlight

Press the Light/Adjust Button (usually on the top left) in any mode to activate the EL backlight for a few seconds, illuminating the display for easy viewing in the dark.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and sweat. For stubborn stains, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying.
