4. Setup

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the power button (Power button icon) on the top panel until the indicator lights illuminate.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again until the lights turn off.

4.2 Charging the Speaker

Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the Type-C port on the side of the speaker and to a 5V/3A power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 8 hours.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing blue light.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for "XDOBO Truth".
  3. Select "XDOBO Truth" from the list of available devices to connect. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.
  4. The speaker supports a stable Bluetooth connection up to 18 meters in open areas.

4.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing

To achieve 360° surround sound, you can pair two XDOBO Truth speakers:

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the 'M' (Mode) button twice quickly. The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. A voice prompt will confirm successful TWS pairing.
  4. Once paired, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

4.5 Microphone Setup

  1. Insert the wireless microphone's receiver into the 6.5mm microphone interface on the side panel of the speaker.
  2. Power on the wireless microphones. They will automatically connect to the speaker.
  3. Adjust microphone volume using the dedicated buttons on the speaker's top panel (Microphone volume buttons icon).
  4. The microphones feature dual U-band multi-frequency adjustment for flexibility and interference avoidance. They can be charged via a USB port.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The top panel of the speaker features various buttons for controlling playback, volume, and special functions:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
  • M (Mode) Button: Short press to switch between Bluetooth, AUX, USB, and TF card modes. Double press for TWS pairing.
  • Microphone Volume Buttons (R-, R+): Adjust the volume of the connected microphones.
  • Play/Pause Button: Play or pause audio playback.
  • Volume Buttons (-, +): Adjust the main speaker volume.
  • EQ Button: Cycle through different equalizer presets.
  • A/E Button: Activate/deactivate original sound elimination for karaoke.
  • Music Note Button: Activate atmosphere sound effects.
  • Microphone Icon Button: Toggle microphone effects or functions.

5.2 Karaoke Function

The XDOBO Truth speaker is designed for an immersive karaoke experience:

  • Connect the wireless microphones as described in section 4.5.
  • Play your desired music through Bluetooth or other input modes.
  • Press the 'A/E' button to eliminate the original vocals from a song, allowing you to sing along.
  • Use the microphone volume controls (R-, R+) to adjust your voice level.
  • Experiment with the 'Music Note' button for atmosphere sound effects and the 'Microphone Icon' button for various microphone effects.

5.3 Live Streaming and Instrument Interface

The speaker supports mobile phone coordination for live broadcasting and includes an instrument interface:

  • Connect your mobile phone to the speaker via Bluetooth.
  • Use the appropriate input port (e.g., 6.5mm microphone interface) to connect an instrument.

5.4 Multiple Playback Modes

  • Bluetooth connection issues: Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode. Disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your device, then try pairing again. Move closer to the speaker and away from potential interference sources.
  • Microphone not working: Ensure the microphone receiver is properly inserted into the 6.5mm port and the microphones are powered on. Check microphone volume levels.
  • TWS pairing failed: Ensure both speakers are disconnected from other Bluetooth devices before attempting TWS pairing. Follow the TWS pairing steps carefully.
