3. Setup Instructions

3.1. Wired Connection

  1. Insert the mouse's USB Type-C cable into the Type-C port on the mouse and the other end into a USB port on your computer.
  2. The mouse can be used directly in wired mode. This mode is also used for charging the mouse.

3.2. 2.4G Wireless Connection

  1. Plug the 2.4G USB Nano receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Turn the power switch at the bottom of the mouse upwards to the '2.4G' position.
  3. The mouse should connect automatically. If not, the indicator light will flash yellow for 3 seconds, indicating it's searching for a connection.

3.3. Bluetooth 5.1 Connection

  1. Turn the power switch at the bottom of the mouse to the 'BT5.1' position.
  2. Press and hold the DPI button on the mouse for 3 seconds. The blue indicator light will begin to blink, signifying that the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
  3. On your computer, open Bluetooth settings and search for new devices. Select "BT5.1 Mouse" from the list to pair and connect.

4.1. DPI Adjustment

The HXSJ T68 mouse offers 6 adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) levels to suit various tasks, from precise editing to fast-paced gaming. The available DPI settings are: 1200, 2400, 3200, 6600, 9600, and 12000.

  • To adjust the DPI, press the DPI +/- button located near the scroll wheel. Each press will cycle through the available DPI settings.
  • The indicator light on the mouse may change color or flash to indicate the current DPI level.

4.2. Rate of Return (Polling Rate) Adjustment

The polling rate determines how often the mouse reports its position to the computer. Higher polling rates result in smoother and more responsive tracking.

  • The mouse supports polling rates of 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, and 1000Hz. The default setting is 1000Hz.
  • To adjust the polling rate, use the physical switch located on the underside of the mouse.

  • Mouse cursor erratic or not tracking smoothly:
        a. Clean the mouse sensor area on the underside with a soft cloth.
        b. Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable, non-reflective surface (e.g., a mouse pad).
        c. Adjust the DPI settings to a lower value if the cursor is too sensitive for your current task.
  • Macro programming not working:
        a. Verify that the mouse is connected in wired mode or 2.4G wireless mode, as Bluetooth mode does not support macro programming.
