4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Powering the Weather Station
The weather station can be powered by either batteries or the included USB power cable.
- Using USB Power Cable: Connect the USB power cable to the DC 5V 600mA power supply socket (B6) on the back of the weather station. This allows the backlight to work continuously.
- Using Batteries: Open the battery compartment (B3) and insert 2 x LR03 AAA batteries (not included). When powered by batteries, the backlight will light up for 15 seconds when activated by touching the top button.

4.2 Powering the Wireless Outdoor Sensor
Open the battery compartment on the wireless outdoor sensor and insert 2 x LR6 AA batteries (not included).
4.3 Sensor Placement and Connection
The wireless outdoor sensor can be placed on a table or wall-mounted. For optimal performance:
- Place the sensor within 60 meters (in an open area) of the main weather station.
- Avoid direct sunlight or rain exposure for the sensor to ensure accurate readings and longevity.
- The product supports up to 3 wireless outdoor sensors. Use the 'CH' button on the main unit to switch between sensor channels if you have multiple sensors.

5.2 Backlight Operation
The backlight has 5 adjustable brightness levels (high to low, plus off). In night mode, the backlight intelligently adjusts its brightness based on ambient light. Continuous backlight is available when powered by the USB adapter. When using batteries, the backlight activates for 15 seconds upon touching the top button.
5.3 Alarm Settings
The weather station features dual alarms with a snooze function. The snooze duration can be set from OFF to 5-60 minutes. It also includes upper and lower limit alarms for indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, as well as frost point alarms.
5.4 Unit Switching
You can switch between different measurement units:
- Temperature: Fahrenheit (℉) or Celsius (℃).
- Atmospheric Pressure: inHg or hPa/mb.
- Time: 12-hour or 24-hour format.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
When the low battery icon appears on the display, replace the batteries in both the main weather station unit and the wireless outdoor sensor. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
6.2 Cleaning
Wipe the weather station and sensor with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the display or casing. Avoid exposing the units to excessive moisture.
6.3 Sensor Care
Periodically check the outdoor sensor for any debris or obstructions that might affect its readings. Ensure it remains in a location protected from direct harsh weather conditions while maintaining good air circulation.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Display on Main Unit: Check if the USB power cable is securely connected or if the AAA batteries are correctly inserted and not depleted.
- No Outdoor Temperature/Humidity Reading: Ensure the wireless outdoor sensor has fresh AA batteries. Verify the sensor is within the 60-meter transmission range and there are no significant obstructions or sources of interference between the sensor and the main unit. Try re-pairing the sensor if necessary (refer to the full user manual for pairing instructions).
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure both the main unit and the sensor are placed in appropriate locations, away from direct heat sources, direct sunlight, or extreme drafts. For outdoor sensors, avoid placing them directly against walls that absorb or radiate heat.
- Backlight Not Continuous: If the backlight only stays on for 15 seconds, the unit is likely running on battery power. Connect the USB power cable for continuous backlight operation.
