Refer to the diagram for precise measurements of the blower and the pin configuration of the adapter board. This information is crucial for proper integration and wiring into your 3D printer setup.
Setup & Installation
Snappy Installation with Adapter Board
The Universal Turbo Kit features a self-developed adapter board with quick-connect terminals, making installation straightforward and eliminating the need for crimping. It directly connects to 5-24V fan connections, easily replacing standard DC fans.

Image: Step-by-step visual guide for connecting wires to the adapter board.
- Open the lever on the adapter board's quick-connect terminal.
- Insert the pre-crimped wire into the terminal.
- Press the lever down to secure the wire in place.
This design boosts airflow by 15% compared to direct Raspberry Pi GPIO connections, significantly improving cooling efficiency.
Voron 2.4 Print Files & Screws
The kit includes a complete set of installation print files and screws specifically for Voron 2.4, streamlining your setup process.

Soft Anti-Fold Fan Pipe
The optional soft anti-fold fan pipe (requires separate purchase) is made from a flexible material that minimizes resistance during movement. Its specially designed anti-fold shell prevents blockages, ensuring consistent airflow.

Operating Instructions
Fan Speed Control
The included potentiometer knob allows for manual adjustment of the blower fan speed. Connect the potentiometer as per the wiring diagram to control the PWM signal, thereby regulating the fan's RPM.
Air Intake Filter
The air intake filter is crucial for maintaining the blower's performance and lifespan. It filters out large filament particles and other debris, preventing them from entering and damaging the blower.

Maintenance
- Air Filter Cleaning: Regularly inspect the air intake filter for dust and debris accumulation. Clean the filter as needed to ensure optimal airflow and prevent clogging. A clogged filter can reduce cooling efficiency and put strain on the blower.
- Component Inspection: Periodically check all connections and components for any signs of wear, damage, or loose wiring. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
- Blower Cleaning: If accessible, gently clean the blower blades and housing to remove any accumulated dust. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
Troubleshooting
- Fan Not Spinning:
- Check power connections to the adapter board and blower.
- Ensure the control signal (PWM) is correctly connected and active.
- Verify the operating voltage is within the specified 9-29VDC range.
- Inspect for any physical obstructions preventing the fan from rotating.
- Reduced Airflow:
- Clean the air intake filter if it appears dirty or clogged.
- Check for blockages in the fan pipe or blower housing.
- Ensure the fan is running at its intended speed (adjust potentiometer).
- Unusual Noise/Vibration:
- Check for loose mounting screws or components.
- Inspect the blower for any foreign objects or damage to the blades.
- Ensure the fan pipe is not kinked or rubbing against other parts.
User Tips
- Hose Compatibility: When selecting a hose for your turbo kit, ensure it is specifically designed for 3D printer cooling applications or is confirmed to be compatible with the blower's outlet dimensions. Generic CPAP hoses or similar tubing may not fit correctly or provide optimal airflow.
- Optimal Placement: Position the blower and air filter in a location that allows for unrestricted airflow and easy access for maintenance.
- Cable Management: Secure all cables to prevent them from interfering with moving parts of your 3D printer or becoming damaged.
