8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No sound from receiver | Receiver off, low batteries, incorrect frequency, volume too low, headphone issue, transmitter off/unplugged. | Ensure receiver is on and has fresh batteries. Verify receiver and transmitter are on the same frequency (re-pair if necessary). Check receiver and transmitter volume levels. Test headphones with another device. Ensure transmitter is powered on and connected to audio source. |
| Intermittent sound or static | Interference, out of range, low transmitter power, loose antenna connection. | Change to a different channel on the transmitter and re-pair the receiver. Move closer to the transmitter. Ensure transmitter antennas are securely connected and positioned optimally. Check for other wireless devices operating on similar frequencies. |
| Cannot pair receiver with transmitter | Incorrect IR alignment, transmitter not in pairing mode, receiver too far. | Ensure the IR sensors on both units are aligned and close together. Verify the transmitter is in "IR----" mode. Try again, ensuring no obstructions. |
| Bluetooth not connecting | Bluetooth off on transmitter, device not in pairing mode, interference. | Press and hold the 'BT' button on the transmitter for 3 seconds to activate Bluetooth. Ensure your mobile device's Bluetooth is on and discoverable. Try restarting both devices. |
| Distorted audio | Input level too high, receiver volume too high, faulty cable. | Reduce the input level on the transmitter. Lower the volume on the receiver. Check audio cables for damage. |
9. User Tips
- Optimal Antenna Placement: For best signal reception, position the transmitter's antennas in a clear line of sight to the performance area. Using the external magnetic antennas can help achieve better placement.
