3. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all items from the carrying box. Verify that all components listed in the package contents are present.
  2. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided charging cable and charger. The charging time is approximately 4 hours.
  3. Power On: Press and hold the On/Off button to power on the device. The sensor will preheat during a countdown.
  4. Environmental Acclimation: After turning on, allow the unit to remain in the air for a short period to ensure its body temperature is slightly higher than the environmental temperature, which aids in accurate calibration.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Gas Measurement

  • The device displays real-time gas concentrations on the LCD screen.
  • The refresh frequency for readings is 1Hz.
  • Important: Do not charge the device while measuring flammable gases, as this may pose an explosion risk.

4.2 High/Low Alarm

  • The monitor has 4 default high/low alarm values.
  • Alarms are indicated through 4 forms: LCD display, LED light, sound, and vibration.
  • The alarm voice can be turned off if desired, while other indications remain active.

4.3 Data Record

  • The device can record up to 1000 pieces of data.
  • The default data recording interval is 5 seconds, which can be adjusted in the settings.
  • Setting the interval to 0 seconds will disable the data record function.
  • The 'Delete' operation will remove all recorded data.

4.4 Temperature Display

  • The temperature unit can be set to either Celsius (℃) or Fahrenheit (℉). The default unit is Celsius (℃).

4.5 Automatic Turning Off

  • The unit is set to automatically turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity (no button operations). This function is enabled by default.

4.6 Battery Management

  • When the battery indicator shows the last bar or less, it is strongly recommended to charge the unit.
  • Operating the unit with a low battery, especially when measuring flammable gases, is prohibited due to potential measurement errors or explosion risks.
  • A low battery may cause the unit to turn off automatically.
  • Charging time: Approximately 4 hours.
  • Discharging time (standby): More than 8 hours (may vary with active use).

4.7 MAX/MIN/Hold Reading

  • Press the designated button to calculate and display the maximum (MAX), minimum (MIN), or hold the current reading.

5. Maintenance

5.1 0-Point Calibration

  • It is recommended to perform a 0-point calibration monthly or whenever a zero shift is observed, to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Ensure the battery level is above 2 bars before initiating calibration.
  • Place the unit in a clean air environment for a period after turning it on to allow its body temperature to slightly exceed the ambient temperature, which is crucial for accurate calibration.

5.2 Temperature Compensation

  • The device automatically compensates measured data within the temperature range of -20℃ to 50℃ to maintain accuracy.

5.3 Cleaning

  • The device is designed to be dust-proof. For general cleaning, wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Software Error

  • If the unit crashes or turns off unexpectedly, it indicates a software error during operation.
  • To reactivate the unit, press the On/Off button.

6.2 Low Battery

  • If the unit turns off automatically or displays a low battery warning, recharge it immediately. Refer to section 4.6 for battery management.
