Setup Guide
1. Hardware Installation
There are two primary ways to connect your WiFi USB Adapter:
- Direct Connection: Plug the WiFi USB Adapter directly into an available USB port on your computer.
- Using a USB Extension Cable Base (Optional): If you have a USB extension cable base (purchased separately), connect the adapter to the base, and then connect the base to your computer's USB port. This is particularly recommended for desktop computers, where connecting to a rear USB 3.0 port often provides more stable power and performance compared to front ports.
Note: For desktop computers, it is highly recommended to connect the adapter to a USB 3.0 port on the back of the computer case for optimal power supply and performance.

2. Driver Installation (Driver-Free)
This adapter is designed for driver-free installation on most Windows operating systems (Windows XP/7/8/8.1/10/11). The driver is built-in and should install automatically upon plugging the device into your computer.
- Plug the WiFi USB Adapter into your computer's USB 3.0 port.
- Open "This PC" or "My Computer". A new "CD drive (E:) Realtek" or "Wireless" may appear.
- Double-click to open this [CD drive].
- Click [Install] to automatically install the driver. The installation interface will disappear once completed.
- It is recommended to restart your computer after the installation is complete to ensure all changes take effect.

Operation
1. Checking Network Status
After successfully connecting to a network, the computer system icon will change to indicate an active connection. You can right-click this icon and select "Open Network and Internet Settings" to view detailed network information and manage your connections.
2. WiFi Hotspot Sharing
The WiFi USB Adapter can be used to share your computer's internet connection as a WiFi hotspot. However, the adapter itself does not include a soft AP launch driver. To enable the "WIFI hotspot function," you will need to use third-party applications such as 360, WiFi Sharing Master, or other similar APPs.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your WiFi USB Adapter, try the following solutions:
Common Issues & Solutions:
- Adapter Not Detected:
- Try plugging the adapter into a different USB port on your computer.
- For desktops, ensure it's connected to a rear USB 3.0 port.
- Restart your computer.
- Driver Installation Failure:
- Ensure your operating system is one of the supported Windows versions (XP/7/8/8.1/10/11).
- Temporarily disable any antivirus software during installation, then re-enable it.
- Manually run the installer from the virtual CD drive if it doesn't auto-launch.
- Poor Signal Strength or Slow Speed:
- Ensure the adapter's antennas are positioned optimally (e.g., upright or angled towards your router).
- Move the computer closer to your wireless router or access point.
- Check for physical obstructions (walls, large metal objects) between the adapter and the router.
- Ensure you are connected to the 5GHz band for higher speeds, if your router supports it and your device is within range.
- Verify that your computer's USB port is USB 3.0 for optimal transmission rates.
- Cannot Connect to WiFi Network:
- Double-check the WiFi password for accuracy.
- Restart your wireless router.
- Ensure the WiFi network is broadcasting and visible.
- Not Working on Linux:
- The adapter officially supports Windows operating systems. Linux support is not guaranteed and may require manual driver compilation or specific distributions.
User Tips
- For optimal performance, especially on desktop PCs, always use a rear USB 3.0 port. Front USB ports may not provide sufficient power.
- If you experience intermittent connections, try adjusting the angle of the adapter's four external antennas. Their 180-degree rotation allows for flexible positioning to improve signal reception.
- While the adapter is driver-free for Windows, a quick restart after the initial plug-in and driver installation can help ensure system stability and full functionality.
