Setup

1. Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge your Altomex A-W3 headset.

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged (approximately 2 hours), the light may change color or turn off.

2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

  1. Ensure the headset is turned off.
  2. Press and hold the multi-function button (or power button) on the headset until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  3. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
  4. Search for available devices and select "A-W3" from the list.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light on the headset will typically flash blue slowly or turn off.
  6. Your headset is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the multi-function button for a few seconds until you hear a power-on prompt and the indicator light flashes.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the multi-function button for a few seconds until you hear a power-off prompt and the indicator light turns off.

Making and Receiving Calls

  • Answer Call: When an incoming call rings, press the 1-touch touch screen control once.
  • End Call: During a call, press the 1-touch touch screen control once.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the 1-touch touch screen control for approximately 2 seconds.

Volume Control

  • Use the dedicated volume button on the headset to adjust the listening volume.

Voice Assistant

  • To activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant), press the 1-touch touch screen control twice.

Microphone Adjustment

The microphone boom can be rotated 270° and 180° to position it optimally for your voice and to switch between left and right ear use. Adjust the microphone closer to your mouth for clearer audio during calls.

No sound or poor sound quality:
