3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged using the provided DC 5V charging cable.
3.2 Wi-Fi Connection
The device requires a Wi-Fi connection for activation and updates. Upon powering on, connect to an available Wi-Fi network. The device will activate automatically.
3.3 Language Selection
The device supports 11 languages. You can select your preferred language from the settings menu:

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Connecting to Vehicle
- Locate your vehicle's 16-pin OBD2 diagnostic port, typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side.
- Connect the OBD II diagnostic cable to the scanner and then to the vehicle's OBD2 port.
- Turn on the vehicle's ignition (engine can be off or running, depending on the test).
4.2 Auto VIN Scan
For vehicles manufactured after 2006, the scanner supports Auto VIN to automatically identify the vehicle's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and initiate a comprehensive diagnostic scan. If auto-detection fails, you may need to manually select the vehicle's make, model, and year.
4.3 4-System Diagnostic
The CRP123E V3.0 can diagnose four main vehicle systems:
