1. Introduction

This P4 wireless control handle is designed to enhance your gaming experience on PS4 consoles and PC, offering immersive gameplay with its advanced features.

Key features include:

  • Full compatibility with all standard PS4 button functions, motor feedback, Touch function, audio speaker, stereo headset jack, and Sensor functions.
  • Four programmable Mn keys (M1, M2, M3, M4) for Macro and Remap functions.
  • Magnetic, replaceable direction keys, mushroom heads, and Mn keys for customizable ergonomics.
  • Ability to wake up the PS4 console from sleep mode by pressing the PS button.

2. Safety Precautions

Please read and adhere to the following safety guidelines to ensure safe operation and prolong the life of your controller:

  • Unplug the Type-C USB connector when charging or during storage to prevent power drain or safety hazards.
  • Keep the product away from humid environments during use and storage to avoid water ingress and damage.
  • Avoid dust accumulation and placing heavy objects on the product, as this may impair normal operation and reduce service life.
  • If water ingress, drop impact, or collision occurs due to improper operation and abnormal conditions arise, immediately discontinue use.
  • Do not heat or dry the product using devices such as microwave ovens, as this may cause further damage.
  • If product damage is detected, promptly arrange for professional repair; do not attempt self-disassembly, as this may void the warranty or create safety hazards.

3. Setup and Connection

3.1 Initial PS4 Host Connection

  1. Ensure the controller is in sleep mode.
  2. Connect the controller to the PS4 host using the provided Micro-USB cable. This will complete the initial pairing.
  3. After successful pairing, press the PS button to connect wirelessly.
  4. You can now unplug the Micro-USB cable and control the PS4 wirelessly.

3.2 PC Computer Connection

  1. Ensure the controller is in sleep mode.
  2. Connect the controller to your PC using the Micro-USB cable. This will complete the pairing.
  3. The controller is now ready for use with your PC. Note that vibration functionality is not supported on PC.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Reconnection Mode

For a controller that has already been paired with the console:

  • When the controller is in sleep mode, press the PS button for 1 second to wake it up.
  • Upon waking, the controller will automatically reconnect to the previously paired console.
  • If the PS4 console is in sleep mode, pressing the PS button on the controller will also wake up the console.

4.2 Macro and Remap Functions

The controller features four programmable Mn keys (M1, M2, M3, M4) on the back. By default, M1 is assigned to '○', M2 to '×', M3 to '△', and M4 to '□'. These keys can be programmed for Macro or Remap functions.

Programmable buttons for Macro/Remap include: ↑, ↓, ←, →, △, ○, □, X, LB, RB, LT, RT, L3, R3.

Mn key Macro and Remap functions can be set to output multiple key functions simultaneously or in sequence.

Macro Function Settings:

  1. Step 1: Press and hold the desired Mn key (M1, M2, M3, or M4) + OPTION key simultaneously. Release both keys to enter setting mode.
  2. Step 2: Press the button(s) you wish to record for the macro. Then, press the same Mn key again to complete the setting action and save the record.

Remap Function Settings:

  1. Step 1: Press and hold the desired Mn key (M1, M2, M3, or M4) + SHARE key simultaneously. Release both keys to enter setting mode.
  2. Step 2: Press the button you want to remap. Then, press the same Mn key again to complete the setting action and save the record.

4.3 Low Battery and Charging

  • Low Battery Prompt: When the controller's battery is low, the PS4 host will display a low battery notification.
  • Charging: Connect the controller to the PS4 host or a DC5.0V power source using the charging cable. When charging while the controller is off, the RGB color LED will display an orange light and flash slowly. The light will turn off once the battery is fully charged.

4.4 Power Off and Sleep Mode

  • Shutting Down: To turn off the controller, press and hold the PS button for 10 seconds.
  • Automatic Sleep: The controller will automatically enter sleep mode when the PS4 host is sleeping.

5. User Tips

  • For optimal performance in competitive games like Fortnite or 2K basketball, experiment with the Macro and Remap functions to customize your controls for faster reactions and improved gameplay.
  • Regularly check for firmware updates for your PS4 console to ensure full compatibility and best performance with your controller.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Controller not connecting: Ensure the Micro-USB cable is securely connected for initial pairing. For wireless connection, ensure the controller is charged and the PS button is pressed for 1 second to wake it up.
  • Buttons unresponsive: Check if the controller battery is charged. If using Macro/Remap functions, ensure they are configured correctly.
  • Charging issues: Verify the charging cable is properly connected to a DC5.0V power source or the PS4 host. The LED should flash orange during charging.
  • PC vibration not working: This controller does not support vibration functionality when connected to a PC.

8. Maintenance

  • Clean the controller regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • When not in use for extended periods, ensure the controller is fully charged before storage and unplugged from any power source.
  • The magnetic direction keys and mushroom heads can be removed for cleaning or replacement. Handle them with care.
