Maintenance

The Radioberry Preamp Board V2 is a robust electronic component designed for long-term use. To ensure its longevity and optimal performance:

  • Keep the board clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry brush or compressed air for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the board to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  • Handle the board with care to prevent physical damage to components or connectors.
  • Ensure all connections (SMA cables, power wires) are secure before operation.
  • Regularly check for any loose components or signs of wear.

Troubleshooting

No Power/Board Not Responding:
  • Verify that the 8V battery-powered wire is correctly connected and providing the specified 5-9V DC.
  • Check the polarity of the power connection.
  • Ensure the Radioberry Juice USB board is properly connected to the computer and receiving power.
No RF Output or Low Power:
  • Confirm all SMA cable connections are secure and correctly routed (Rx, Tx, ANT).
  • Check the "Enable PA" setting in your SDR software.
  • Review the "Tune drive" settings in your SDR software; incorrect settings can lead to low output.
  • Ensure the RF input does not exceed 20dbm Max.
Software Not Detecting Board:
  • Ensure the Radioberry Juice USB board is correctly connected to your computer via Type-C USB.
  • Verify that all necessary drivers for the Radioberry Juice USB board and SDR software are installed and up to date.
