- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website or the 'Roadcam' app for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
- Memory Card: Regularly format your Micro SD card (at least once a month) to prevent data corruption and ensure smooth recording. Replace the card if it shows signs of wear or error messages.
- Cable Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected to prevent power interruptions or signal loss.
- Operating Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures outside its specified working range (-20℃ to 70℃) to prevent damage.
13. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Check the car charger connection and ensure your vehicle's 12V power outlet is functioning.
- Recording issues: Ensure a Class 10 Micro SD card is inserted correctly and has sufficient free space. Format the card if necessary.
- Android Auto / CarPlay connection problems: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone and the dash cam. For wired CarPlay/Android Auto, ensure the USB cable is properly connected. Check your phone's settings for any specific connection requirements or passwords (though typically not required for standard connections).
- No audio output via AUX: Verify the AUX cable is securely connected to both the dash cam and your car's AUX input. Check the dash cam's audio settings to ensure the internal speaker is off if you prefer audio through your car's system.
- GPS not tracking: Ensure the GPS antenna (if optional) is connected and placed in an area with a clear view of the sky.
- ADAS features not working: Ensure the cameras are clean and unobstructed. Calibrate ADAS settings if available in the device menu.

- Regularly back up important video files from your SD card to a computer or cloud storage.
- Familiarize yourself with the voice commands to operate the device hands-free and minimize distractions while driving.
