1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read all safety instructions carefully before using your JINGHAO JH-A17 hearing amplifier. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the device.
- Do not attempt to open or repair the devices yourself. Doing so will void the warranty and can cause damage.
- Avoid storing your hearing amplifiers in hot or humid locations. Never leave them near heating appliances or in direct sunlight.
- Do not leave your hearing amplifiers in a car, as internal temperatures can reach dangerous levels that may damage the devices.
- If your device has Bluetooth functionality, do NOT connect the hearing amplifier and headsets to a mobile phone via Bluetooth simultaneously. This may cause noise, distortion, or other unexpected problems.
- Keep small parts away from children to prevent accidental ingestion.
- Do not use the devices in explosive or oxygen-enriched atmospheres, as this may damage them.
- This device should only be used by the intended person. Using hearing amplifiers designed for someone else may result in hearing damage.
- For assistance with setup, use, maintenance, or to report unexpected operation or events, please contact the manufacturer.
2. Contraindications: Do Not Use If Any of the Following Apply to You
- Congenital atresia of the external ear or deformity of any part of the ear canal.
- Deafness is unstable, and the degree of hearing loss often fluctuates.
- Persistent headaches, dizziness, earaches, tinnitus, or other symptoms that are not suitable for adaptation.
- Sudden onset of hearing loss within the past 3 months; rapid progressive deafness; unilateral hearing loss; or other acute ear disease.
- Effusion (secretions/discharge) in the ear and/or frequent purulence (pus).
- Central deafness (central nervous system) or non-organic deafness.
- Patients with acute otitis externa and tympanitis.
- Patients with acute and chronic suppurative otitis media (in the period of purulent infection).
- Patients who are allergic to the materials of this product.
3. Matters Needing Attention, Warnings, and Tips
- Do not immerse the hearing amplifier in any liquid. Always remove the hearing amplifier before swimming or bathing. After swimming or bathing, wait for the ear canal to dry completely before wearing the hearing amplifier.
- The external surfaces of the hearing amplifier should be kept clean, and earwax in the eartips should be cleaned out daily.
- Please choose the suitable product according to your hearing loss level (WHO standard on 2021). Refer to the table below:

4.1 Hearing Amplifier Components
The JINGHAO JH-A17 hearing amplifier is a compact and powerful device designed for comfort and clarity. It features a tiny body, weighing only 1.6g and measuring 0.5 inches by 0.31 inches, making it nearly invisible when worn.

- Eartip: Soft silicon domes that hold the hearing amplifier comfortably and securely in the ear canal.
- Microphones: Sound enters the hearing amplifier through these microphones.

- Charging Contacts: Points on the hearing amplifier that connect with the charging case for recharging.
- Multi-function Button: Used for changing hearing programs, adjusting volume, and turning the hearing amplifier ON/OFF.

5. Setup: Fitting Eartips
Proper eartip fitting is crucial for comfort, sound quality, and to prevent the eartips from remaining in your ear canal when removing the device. The soft ear tips come in 3 sizes to maximize comfort and ensure a discreet fit.

Choose the eartip size that best fits your ear canal for optimal comfort and performance.
- Choose a suitable size of eartip: Select from the provided L, M, or S eartips to find the one that fits snugly and comfortably in your ear canal.
- Prepare the eartip: Push the eartip rim membrane outward to make it easier to attach.
- Attach to hearing amplifier: Hold the end of the hearing amplifier and push the eartip firmly onto it to ensure it is securely fastened.
Note:
- Gently pull the eartip after attachment to confirm it is installed firmly and will not fall off easily.
- Incorrect eartip replacement can cause hearing damage if the eartip remains in the ear canal.
6. Operating Your Device
6.1 Turn On/Off

The multi-function button controls power and volume.
- To Turn On: Press the multi-function button for approximately four (4) seconds. You will hear a prompt tone indicating the device is on and the current hearing program.
- To Turn Off: Press the multi-function button for approximately four (4) seconds. Keep pressing until you hear the turn-off prompt tone.
6.2 Volume Control
The hearing amplifiers have six (6) volume levels. You can adjust the volume from minimum to maximum.
- Adjust Volume: Short press the multi-function button to cycle through the volume levels.
- At maximum volume, the hearing amplifier will emit a prompt tone: "Beep-Beep-Beep".
6.3 Program Switching
There are four (4) preset programs available. The device features memory recall, remembering the last program used when turned off.
- Switch Programs: Press the multi-function button for approximately two (2) seconds to switch between programs.

Low Battery Warning: When the remaining battery capacity is almost used, you will hear the prompt tone "beep beep, beep beep, beep beep".
6.4 Wearing and Removing Hearing Amplifiers
- Always ensure the hearing amplifiers are turned OFF before wearing or removing them.
- Wearing: Hold the hearing amplifier and place it into your right or left ear. Move it slightly into your auricle for a secure fit.
- Removing: Pinch the pull string and gently pull the hearing amplifier out of your ear.
Notice:
- Hearing amplifiers may whistle if inserted incorrectly. Reinsert them into your ear canal correctly.
- If whistling persists after reinsertion, replace the eartips with a bigger size and try again.
6.5 Charging the Hearing Amplifiers
The JINGHAO JH-A17 hearing amplifiers are rechargeable, offering up to 14 hours of use on a full charge. A quick 15-minute charge can provide 5 hours of use, and a full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

- Turn off: Turn off your hearing amplifiers before charging.
- Place in charging case: Place your hearing amplifiers back into the correct slot of the charging case.
- Automatic charging: The hearing amplifiers will start charging automatically. An orange indicator light signifies charging.
- Fully charged: A green indicator light signifies that the hearing amplifiers are fully charged. The indicator lights will turn off approximately five minutes after being fully charged.
6.6 Charging Case Operation
- Turn On: Press the power switch of the charging case for about one (1) second. All indicator lights on the charging case will turn green and flash three (3) times.
- Turn Off: Press the power switch of the charging case for about five (5) seconds. All indicator lights on the charging case will turn orange and flash three (3) times.
6.7 Charging the Charging Case
- Connect the B port of the USB cable to the charging port of the charging case.
- Connect the A port of the USB cable to a power supply.
6.8 Battery Check Function (Charging Case)
To check the remaining battery capacity of the charging case and hearing amplifiers, press the power switch of the charging case.
- When NOT connected to power: Solid green indicator lights indicate full remaining battery capacity. Flashing orange indicator lights indicate that the remaining battery capacity is NOT full.
- When connected to power: Solid green indicator lights indicate full remaining battery capacity. Solid orange indicator lights indicate that the remaining battery capacity is NOT full.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance and cleaning will prolong the life of your JINGHAO JH-A17 hearing amplifiers and ensure optimal performance.
7.1 Daily Maintenance
- Keep your devices clean and dry by using a soft cloth or tissue. This prevents potential damage from humidity or perspiration.
- Do NOT use an electronic dryer to store the rechargeable hearing amplifier.
- If the device is rechargeable, charge it regularly to avoid battery damage. The recommended charging interval is less than 28 days.
7.2 General Care and Precautions
- Keep your devices away from children and pets.
- Keep your hearing amplifier away from high-temperature and/or high-humidity environments.
- Do not poke the microphone with any sharp objects to avoid damage.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair your devices yourself. Doing so will void your warranty.
- Do not drop your hearing amplifiers or knock them against hard surfaces.
- Do not use sharp tools to dislodge earwax. Sticking household items into your devices can seriously damage them.
- Do not swim, shower, or use a sauna while wearing the hearing amplifiers.
- Do not attempt to dry the hearing amplifiers or charging case in an oven, microwave, or other heating equipment. This can cause them to melt and may cause burns.
- Always remove your hearing amplifiers when using hair care products. These products can clog the amplifiers and impair function.
- Store your devices in a clean and dry location.
7.3 Cleaning Eartips and Tools
- Cleaning Eartips: Use the thin side of the enclosed cleaning tool to remove earwax adhered to the eartips. Remove eartips from the hearing amplifier before cleaning, and push the eartips rim membrane outward. Clean the eartips with alcohol and a dry cloth, then wait for them to dry completely before reattaching.
- Eartip Replacement: It is recommended to change the eartips every three months, or sooner if they become stiff, brittle, or discolored.
- Cleaning Tool: Use a soft cloth or tissue to wipe any moisture or perspiration from the surface of the cleaning tool.
- Device Cleaning: Use the cleaning tool to clean debris adhered to the buttons, microphones, or other parts. Regularly inspect the receiver, eartips, and other parts. Do NOT clean your hearing amplifier with water, solvent, or oils.
- Clean the charging contacts of the rechargeable hearing amplifiers with a cleaning cloth regularly to ensure normal charging.
