1. Product Overview

2. Package Contents

Before installation, please verify that all components are present:

3. Setup and Installation

This lock is designed for invisible, hole-free installation on wooden doors, drawers, and cabinets. It is suitable for various applications including household drawer cabinets, office data cabinets, cashier drawers, sauna clubs, safe outside door cabinets, and school dormitory lockers.

3.1 Compatibility:

  • Applicable Door Type: Wooden doors only.
  • Door Thickness: Within 30mm.
  • Sensing Penetration: Up to 3CM, suitable for over 99% of drawer cabinets.

3.2 Installation Guidelines:

  • Ensure the installation surface is clean and dry.
  • The lock is installed on the inside of the cabinet/drawer, making it invisible from the outside.
  • For top flat drawer double-layer boards, the lock needs to be embedded inside.
  • Can only be installed if the board thickness is above 25mm.
  • Cannot be installed in drawer slots or with drawer eaves that obstruct the lock mechanism.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 RFID Card Unlocking:

To unlock, simply swipe your registered RFID card or keychain over the area where the lock is installed. The lock will mechanically rebound, allowing you to open the drawer or cabinet.

4.2 Tuya App Remote Unlocking:

The lock can be controlled via the Tuya App (Doodle Bluetooth App). Ensure your smartphone is within 10 meters of the lock for Bluetooth connection.

  1. Download and install the Tuya App on your smartphone.
  2. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your lock with the app via Bluetooth.
  3. Once paired, open the mobile app and tap the unlock icon to quickly unlock the cabinet or drawer.
  4. The app also allows you to query unlock records and check the current battery level.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement:

The lock is powered by 4 AAA batteries (not included). Thanks to its low energy consumption design, the batteries are expected to last 1-2 years. When the battery level drops below 2.4V, a low voltage alarm will activate. Replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

  1. When the low power alarm sounds, open the back cover of the lock.
  2. Replace the four AAA batteries with new ones.
  3. Close the back cover securely.

5.2 Emergency Power Supply:

In case the batteries die completely and you cannot unlock the cabinet, the lock supports an emergency external power supply. This requires making small holes for access to the external power port.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Lock not responding to RFID card: Ensure the RFID card is correctly registered. Check battery level via the Tuya App or replace batteries if low. Ensure the card is swiped within the sensing range (up to 3CM).
  • Lock not responding to Tuya App: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the lock. Ensure your phone is within 10 meters of the lock. Check the app for any connection errors or battery status.
  • Drawer/Cabinet cannot be opened after unlocking: Check for any physical obstructions preventing the drawer/cabinet from opening. Ensure the lock mechanism is not jammed.
  • Lock is completely unresponsive (dead battery): Use the emergency external power supply option to provide temporary power and unlock the cabinet. Then, replace the internal AAA batteries.
  • Physical damage to the lock: The warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse. If the lock is physically damaged, it may require replacement.

8. User Tips

  • Remote Access: While the Tuya App allows remote unlocking via Bluetooth, remember that the range is limited to 10 meters. For unlocking when not at home, you would typically need a Tuya Bluetooth gateway/bridge (sold separately) to extend connectivity over Wi-Fi.
  • Alexa Integration: This lock primarily uses the Tuya App via Bluetooth. Direct integration with voice assistants like Alexa usually requires a compatible Tuya gateway that supports such integrations. Check the Tuya App for specific smart home integration options.
  • iPhone Bluetooth Setup: To set up Bluetooth on your iPhone, ensure Bluetooth is enabled in your phone's settings. Open the Tuya App, and it should guide you through the pairing process for the lock. If issues arise, try restarting both the lock (by briefly removing and reinserting batteries) and your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Battery Life: Although the battery life is estimated at 1-2 years, factors like frequent use and extreme temperatures can affect it. Regularly check the battery level via the Tuya App to avoid unexpected lockouts.

This product comes with a one-year warranty from the date of original purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not cover defects caused by misuse, fire, or other user-induced damage.
