6.3. Setting Menu Options
| Menu | Function Parameters | Adjustment Range | Explanation | Default Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. | Speed | 50-150 | Adjust the parameter value when there is an error between HUD and dashboard. E.g., if the dashboard displays 100 KM/H and HUD displays 105 KM/H, adjust the parameter value to 102 (107-5). | 107 |
| 2. | Over speed alarm | 30-250 | When the vehicle speed reaches the set value, HUD will give an alarm. | 150 |
| 3. | Fatigue driving alarm | 1.0-8.0 | HUD will give a fatigue driving alarm every X hours. | 4.0 |

7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your G1 HUD, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Ensure the USB cable is not damaged and is securely connected.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself, as this will void the warranty.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your G1 HUD, refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
8.1. The screen without any display, and no power
- Check whether the USB cable is damaged. Replace the USB cable for testing.
- Ensure the power supply voltage is not higher than 5V.
8.2. Without car Speed
- After HUD power-on, the satellite icon will flash as it searches for satellites. Drive the car to the road; the display will work after the satellite icon stops flashing and stays on.
8.3. Inaccurate Speed
- First, check if the speed unit (KM/H or MPH) is correct. Refer to the setting menu to switch the unit if needed.
- Car manufacturers usually set the dashboard speed 5-7% higher than the ECU. The international standard is based on satellite data. If your dashboard shows 100 and the device shows 105, adjust the speed parameter value to 102 in the settings (107-5).
8.4. Driving direction display error
- The direction will display normally once the vehicle speed exceeds 5 KM/H.
8.5. Speed is still displayed after the car stops
- In areas like underground parking lots, tunnels, or under overpasses, there may be unstable satellite drift due to obstruction, causing the speed to be displayed even when stationary. This is normal behavior under such conditions.
8.6. Turn off the buzzer
- Push the wave button left for 2 seconds to turn off the buzzer. Repeat the action to turn it back on.

10. User Tips
- Initial Satellite Acquisition: Upon first power-on or after being in an area with poor signal, the satellite icon will flash. Drive the vehicle to an open road, and the device will acquire satellite signal and function normally once the icon stops flashing.
- Power Cable Type: The G1 HUD uses a standard USB cable for power. If you received an OTG cable and require a different USB cable for your car model (e.g., Ford Ka 2007), ensure you use a compatible 5V USB power source.
- Broad Compatibility: The device is designed to be compatible with all car types, including older models like the Volkswagen Crafter 2008.
