Introduction
The LoraTap ZigBee 3.0 Wireless Remote Control is designed to enhance your smart home experience by providing convenient control over your Tuya Smart Life ecosystem devices. This remote allows for versatile scene automation with multi-action button functionality, enabling you to manage various smart appliances with ease.

Important Notes
Attention: This LoraTap ZigBee 3.0 remote control requires a Tuya ZigBee Hub to function. It is not compatible with ZigBee Hubs from other brands. Ensure you have a Tuya ZigBee Hub before proceeding with setup.

The package includes the following items:

Setup and Installation
1. Battery Installation
- Open the shell of the remote control using the provided screwdriver.
- Install the CR2032 coin battery as shown in the diagram. Ensure correct polarity (+/-). (This step can be skipped if the kit was purchased with the battery pre-installed).

2. Pairing with Tuya ZigBee Hub
- Ensure your Tuya ZigBee Hub is powered on and connected to your network.
- Open the Smart Life or Tuya App on your smartphone.
- In the app, navigate to your ZigBee Hub and select "Add subdevice".
- On the remote control, press any button for 10 seconds until the yellow indicator light flashes. Release the button. This puts the remote into pairing mode.
- In the app, click the "LED already blink" button to confirm the device is in pairing mode.
- The ZigBee device will be added successfully to your app.

Note: Due to potential app updates, the exact steps in the Smart Life App may vary slightly. Always follow the current in-app instructions for the most accurate pairing process.
3. Physical Installation (Optional)
The remote control can be used as a portable device or mounted on a wall.
Mounting Options:
- Double-sided adhesive tape: Attach the provided double-sided tape to the back of the wall bracket, then firmly press it onto a clean, dry wall surface.
- Screws: Use the provided screws and screwdriver to mount the wall bracket securely to the wall.
Once the wall bracket is installed, the remote control can be magnetically attached to it, allowing it to function like a traditional wall switch. It can also be easily removed for portable use.

A lanyard is also included for convenient hanging of the remote control.
Operating Instructions
The LoraTap ZigBee remote control offers versatile control through three distinct button actions:
- Single Click: Perform a quick press and release.
- Double Click: Press and release twice in quick succession.
- Long Press: Press and hold the button for a few seconds.
Each button on the remote can be configured within the Smart Life or Tuya App to trigger up to three different scenarios or control specific smart devices based on these actions.

Integration with Smart Devices:
The remote control works seamlessly with various smart devices within the Tuya Smart Life App, provided they are connected to your Tuya ZigBee Hub.

Controlling Lights with Smart Lamp Holders:
Pair the remote with a smart lamp holder (connected to your ZigBee Hub) to easily turn lights on/off. This is particularly convenient for elderly users or children, allowing them to control lights from their bedside.

Controlling Devices with Smart Modules:
When used with smart modules (e.g., curtain modules, switch relay modules) connected to your ZigBee Hub, the remote can control multiple lights or other appliances. This is ideal for situations where existing switch positions are inconvenient.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement:
The remote control is powered by a CR2032 coin battery. When the remote's performance degrades or the indicator light no longer flashes, it's time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps in the "Setup and Installation" section to replace the battery.
Ensure to dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
Troubleshooting
Device Not Pairing / LED Not Blinking:
If the LED indicator light is not blinking when attempting to pair, the device may not be in pairing mode or may need a reset. Common ways to reset devices for pairing mode include:
- For Sensors: Power on, then hold the RESET button for 5 seconds.
- For Sockets: Power on, then hold the RESET button for 5 seconds.
- For Lighting: Power on, then cycle On-Off-On-Off-On.
For the remote control itself, ensure you are pressing any button for 10 seconds until the yellow indicator light flashes to enter pairing mode.
Note: Always refer to the specific reset instructions for the device you are trying to pair if it's not the remote control itself.

- Hub Compatibility: Always ensure your ZigBee Hub is a Tuya-compatible model for seamless integration. This remote will not work with other brands' ZigBee hubs.
