4. Device Overview
Familiarize yourself with the ports and features of your Homatics Box R 4K Plus:

- USB 2.0 Port: For connecting USB devices.

5. Setup Guide
5.1. Connecting the Device
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 12V input port on the Homatics Box R 4K Plus and then plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HD (HDMI) output port on the Homatics Box R 4K Plus and the other end to an HDMI input on your TV or display.
- For a wired internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN (1000M) port on the device. For Wi-Fi, you will configure it during the initial setup.
5.2. Remote Control Pairing
To pair the remote control with your Homatics Box R 4K Plus:
- Ensure the device is powered on and connected to your TV.
- Long press the Back (←) and Home (⌂) buttons on the remote control simultaneously until the red LED light on the remote flashes quickly.
- Release the buttons. This indicates the remote control has entered pairing mode.
- Wait a few seconds without pressing any buttons. A message will appear on your TV screen confirming that the remote has paired successfully.
5.3. Initial Android TV Setup
After connecting the device and pairing the remote, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial Android TV setup:
- Select your preferred language (e.g., English (United States)).
- You may be prompted to quickly set up your TV with your Android phone. Follow the instructions or select 'Skip' to set up manually.
- Sign in with your Google account to access Google Play Store, recommendations, and Google Assistant features.
- Complete any remaining setup steps, such as Wi-Fi connection (if not using Ethernet) and accepting terms of service.

6.1. Navigation
Use the directional pad and 'OK' button on your remote control to navigate the Android TV interface. The Home button will take you to the main screen, and the Back button will return you to the previous screen.

The Homatics Box R 4K Plus features Google Assistant. Press the Google Assistant button on your remote control and speak into the microphone to:

Note: Google Assistant is not available in certain languages and countries.
