6.4. Pairing (RF Matching)
The thermostat and receiver communicate wirelessly via 433MHz RF. They need to be paired for proper operation. The following video demonstrates the pairing process:
Video 6.1: Instructions for pairing the Vancoo RF Wireless Thermostat with its receiver.
- Ensure both the thermostat and receiver are powered on. The WiFi symbol on the thermostat will flash, indicating it needs to be matched with the receiver.
- Long press the "power" key and the "clock" key simultaneously on the thermostat to enter advanced settings.
- Navigate through the settings to find "SNP" and adjust its value to "01".
- Long press the "down" key and the "power" key simultaneously on the thermostat to initiate the serial number matching process.
- Observe the display for "CHK" (consistent with the serial number, the value is correct) and adjust the value of "VAC" to "01".
- Once successfully paired, the WiFi symbol on the thermostat will stop flashing. The heating symbol will appear, and the red light on the receiver will illuminate, indicating active heating.
7. Operation
The thermostat features a clear LCD display and touch buttons for easy control.

9. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Thermostat not responding / Display off | No power (batteries dead or USB disconnected) | Replace batteries (BOT-X306) or check USB connection (BOT306RF-WIFI). Ensure power outlet is functional. |
| WiFi symbol flashing (BOT306RF-WIFI) | Thermostat not paired with receiver or WiFi connection lost. | Perform RF matching as described in Section 6.4. Check WiFi router and network connection. |
| Heating not turning on/off as expected | Incorrect programming, receiver wiring issue, or thermostat/receiver not communicating. | Verify programming schedule. Check receiver wiring (Section 6.1). Ensure thermostat and receiver are paired (Section 6.4) and within range (up to 300m in open distance). |
| APP control not working (BOT306RF-WIFI) | Thermostat not connected to WiFi, incorrect APP settings, or outdated APP. | Ensure thermostat is connected to your home WiFi network. Check APP settings and update the Beok Home APP to the latest version. |
| Voice control not working (BOT306RF-WIFI) | Not linked to Alexa/Google Home, or incorrect voice commands. | Ensure the Beok Home skill/service is enabled and linked in your Alexa/Google Home app. Use correct voice commands. |
10. User Tips
- Power Source Clarity: Remember that the BOT-X306 (No-WiFi) model runs on 2 AA batteries, while the BOT306RF-WIFI (WiFi) model requires continuous power via a USB Type C cable. Always ensure the correct power source is used for your specific model.
- Optimal Placement: Place the thermostat in a central location in the room, away from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources (like lamps or appliances) that could affect temperature readings.
- RF Range: The wireless communication range between the thermostat and receiver is up to 300 meters in an open distance. In practice, walls and obstacles will reduce this range. Ensure the receiver is placed within an effective range of the thermostat.

Image 10.1: Wireless remote control range of 300m in open distance.
- APP Download: For the WiFi model, the Beok Home APP download link can be found by scanning the QR code on the product packaging or in the included user manual.
