Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
- Typing: The keyboard functions as a standard 75% layout keyboard.
- Volume Knob: The metal knob located on the top right corner controls the system volume. Turn clockwise to increase, counter-clockwise to decrease. Press to mute/unmute.
Advanced Features (via CIDOO Driver)
The CIDOO C75 offers advanced customization through the CIDOO Driver software. Ensure the driver is installed for access to these features.
- Adjustable Actuation Point: Customize the activation point of each key from 0.1 mm to 4 mm. This allows for quicker responses in gaming (lower actuation) or more deliberate keystrokes for typing (higher actuation).
- Rapid Trigger (RT): This feature dynamically adjusts key actuation and deactivation based on key travel. Keys reactivate faster upon quick release, enabling rapid, repeated inputs, ideal for fast-paced gaming.
- Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS): Program up to 4 different actions per key based on the depth of the keypress. A light press can trigger one action, while a deeper press triggers another, allowing for complex command sequences.
- Mod-Tap (MT): Assign dual functionalities to a single key. A quick tap performs one function, while holding the key down activates a different one. Useful for efficient access to multiple functions.
- Toggle Key (TGL): Configure a key to have a dual mode: a standard press or a continuous press mode. Tapping can initiate repeated keystrokes, while holding can switch back to normal single-action operation.
- Key Remapping: Customize the function of any key on the keyboard.
- Lighting Effects Customization: Adjust RGB lighting patterns, colors, brightness, and speed.
All customized settings are stored directly on the keyboard's on-board memory, so your preferences are retained even when connecting to different computers without the driver.
RGB Lighting
The CIDOO C75 features south-facing RGB LEDs for vibrant backlighting. Lighting effects can be customized via the CIDOO Driver. The RGB bar on the left side of the keyboard also contributes to its aesthetic.

Maintenance
- Cleaning Keycaps: Use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps. Clean them with a soft cloth and mild soap solution if necessary. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
- Cleaning the Case: Wipe the aluminum case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Switch Maintenance: The GATERON KS-20U magnetic switches are factory pre-lubed. No additional lubrication is typically required. The hot-swappable design allows for easy replacement of magnetic switches if needed (use only compatible magnetic switches).
- Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the USB-C cable to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
- Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
- Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out system-specific issues.
- RGB Lighting Not Working/Incorrect:
- Check the CIDOO Driver software for lighting settings.
- Ensure the keyboard firmware is up to date.
- Keys Not Registering or Double-Typing:
- This can sometimes be related to magnetic switch calibration. Use the CIDOO Driver to recalibrate the switches or adjust the actuation point.
- If a specific switch is faulty, it can be hot-swapped and replaced with a new GATERON KS-20U magnetic switch.
- Driver Software Issues:
- Ensure you have downloaded the correct driver version for your operating system from the official CIDOO website.
- Try reinstalling the driver software.

User Tips
While no specific user reviews or Q&A were provided, general tips for mechanical keyboard users, especially with advanced features, include:
- Experiment with Actuation: Take time to find your preferred actuation point for different tasks. A lower point (e.g., 0.5mm) is often favored for competitive gaming, while a slightly higher point (e.g., 1.5-2.0mm) might feel more comfortable for general typing to reduce accidental presses.
- Utilize Advanced Key Functions: For gamers, mastering Rapid Trigger, Dynamic Keystrokes, Mod-Tap, and Toggle Key can significantly enhance performance and control. Practice these features in-game to integrate them into your playstyle.
- Regular Cleaning: Dust and debris can affect switch performance and keyboard aesthetics. Regular cleaning of keycaps and the case will prolong the keyboard's lifespan and maintain its premium feel.
- Driver Updates: Periodically check the official CIDOO website for updated driver software and firmware. Updates can introduce new features, improve performance, or fix bugs.
