3. Product Overview

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation

- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the Power button (
) to turn the lux meter on or off.
5.2 Unit Switching (LUX/FC)
The device supports both LUX and FC units. Press the UNIT button (
) to switch between LUX and FC measurement units.

5.3 Data Hold
To freeze the current reading on the display, press the HOLD button (
). Press it again to release the hold function and resume live measurements.
5.4 Maximum/Minimum Value Measurement
To view the maximum or minimum measured values:
- Press the MAX/MIN button (
) once to display the maximum value recorded. - Press the MAX/MIN button again to display the minimum value recorded.
- Press it a third time to exit Max/Min mode and return to live measurement.

5.5 Backlight
The device features a backlight for improved visibility in low-light conditions. The backlight is typically activated by a short press of the Backlight/Unit switch button (refer to Figure 3 for location).
5.6 Auto Power Off (APO)
To conserve battery life, the lux meter will automatically shut down after 15 minutes of inactivity. This feature can be manually disabled if continuous operation is required (refer to the full PDF manual for instructions on disabling APO).
