Setup and Connection

Follow these steps to safely connect the charger and begin the charging process:

  1. Connect to Power: Plug the charger's AC power cord into a standard household 100-240V AC, 50-60Hz electrical outlet.
  2. Select Battery Type Mode: Press the "MODE" button on the charger to cycle through and select the appropriate charging mode for your specific battery type (Car, Moto, AGM/LiFePO4, or Repair). The selected mode will be clearly indicated on the digital display.
  3. Connect to Battery:
    • Connect the RED positive (+) charging clip to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
    • Connect the BLACK negative (-) charging clip to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.

  • Car Mode: This is the most frequently used mode, suitable for standard car batteries, including dry, wet, lead-acid, and maintenance-free types.

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Charger not turning on. No power from the electrical outlet; loose power cord connection. Verify the power outlet is functional. Ensure the charger's power cord is securely plugged into both the charger and the outlet.
Charger not initiating charge to battery. Incorrect battery connection (reverse polarity); battery voltage too low (below 8.0V); battery severely damaged. Ensure correct polarity (+ to +, - to -).
