- Battery Care (ET32C): Recharge the built-in lithium battery regularly to maintain its lifespan, even if not in frequent use.
- Test Leads: Inspect test leads and crocodile clamps regularly for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device does not power on:
- For ET31C, check if AAA batteries are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge.
- For ET32C, ensure the built-in battery is charged. Connect to a USB power source.
- No signal output:
- Verify that the correct signal type and parameters are selected.
- Check connections of test leads to the output jacks.
- Ensure the 'Output' function is enabled on the screen.
- Multimeter readings are inaccurate:
- Ensure test leads are properly connected to the correct input jacks (VΩHz and COM).
- Check if the correct measurement mode is selected.
- Verify that the test leads are not damaged or corroded.
- Screen is dim or unresponsive:
- Adjust screen brightness settings.
- Ensure sufficient battery charge.
