Operating Instructions
The Douk Audio T7 features a user-friendly front panel for easy control of your audio equalization.
- Power On/Input Selection:
- Rotate the leftmost knob to select your desired input: 'RCA' for RCA input, or 'BAL' for balanced XLR input.
- The 'OFF' position powers down the unit and activates bypass mode.
- 7-Band Equalization:
Adjust the seven frequency knobs to tailor your sound. Each knob controls a specific frequency band within a range of -6dB to +6dB:
- 64Hz Adjustment Knob: Controls the lowest bass frequencies.
- 125Hz Adjustment Knob: Controls mid-bass frequencies.
- 250Hz Adjustment Knob: Controls lower-midrange frequencies.
- 500Hz Adjustment Knob: Controls central midrange frequencies.
- 2KHz Adjustment Knob: Controls upper-midrange frequencies.
- 4KHz Adjustment Knob: Controls lower treble frequencies.
- 8KHz Adjustment Knob: Controls higher treble frequencies.
Turn a knob clockwise to boost the frequency band, and counter-clockwise to cut it.
- Bypass Mode:
When the unit is powered off (knob set to 'OFF'), the T7 enters bypass mode. This allows the audio signal to pass through without any equalization or processing, enabling you to enjoy the original sound directly.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Douk Audio T7, please follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
- Placement: Place the T7 on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.
- Dust Protection: Keep the unit free from dust accumulation. You may use a soft brush or compressed air to gently remove dust from vents and controls.
- Cable Management: Ensure all cables are connected securely and are not under strain. Avoid bending cables sharply.
- Power Off When Not in Use: If the unit will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to power it off and unplug the power adapter.
