5. Setup
Prepare the Paint:
Before filling the container, ensure your paint is properly thinned to the correct viscosity. Use the included viscosity measuring cup. Fill the cup with paint and time how long it takes for the paint to flow out completely. Refer to your paint manufacturer's recommendations for thinning ratios. The maximum recommended viscosity for this spray gun is 120 DIN/sec.

Figure 5: Use a funnel to pour prepared paint into the container. Select and Install Nozzle:
Choose the appropriate nozzle (1.8mm or 2.6mm) based on the paint type and desired spray pattern. The 1.8mm nozzle is generally suitable for thinner materials, while the 2.6mm nozzle is for thicker paints. Attach the selected nozzle to the spray gun head, ensuring it is securely fastened with the air cap retaining ring.
Adjust Adjustable Pipe:
The adjustable pipe (catheter) inside the container should be positioned correctly for your spraying direction. If you are spraying upwards, rotate the pipe so its opening faces the rear of the gun (towards the handle). If spraying downwards, rotate it so the opening faces the front (towards the nozzle).

Figure 6: Adjust the pipe direction based on spraying angle. Fill Container:
Carefully pour the prepared paint into the 800ml container. Do not overfill. Securely attach the container to the spray gun body.
Connect Power:
Plug the spray gun into a suitable 220-240V, 50Hz power outlet. Ensure the power connection wire is firmly connected and not removed during operation.
6. Operating Instructions
Adjust Spray Pattern:
Rotate the air cap to select one of three spray patterns: circular 90° (vertical fan), circular -45° (horizontal fan), or circular 45° (circular spray). Test the pattern on a piece of scrap material before applying to your project.

Figure 7: Adjusting spray pattern and paint volume. Control Paint Volume:
Use the paint volume control dial located near the trigger to adjust the amount of paint being sprayed. Turn clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease. Start with a lower setting and gradually increase until the desired coverage is achieved.
Begin Spraying:
Hold the spray gun approximately 25cm (10 inches) from the surface. Press the trigger to start spraying. Move the gun in smooth, even strokes, overlapping each pass slightly to ensure uniform coverage. Release the trigger at the end of each stroke to prevent overspray.
Non-Drip Feature:
This spray gun is designed with a non-drip feature to minimize mess during operation. However, proper technique and paint viscosity are still crucial for best results.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning after each use is essential to maintain the performance and longevity of your spray gun.
Empty and Rinse Container:
Empty any remaining paint from the container. Fill the container with an appropriate cleaning solution (water for latex paints, mineral spirits for oil-based paints). Spray the cleaning solution through the gun until it runs clear.
Disassemble Components:
Unplug the spray gun. Disassemble the nozzle, air cap, air cap retaining ring, and container from the main unit. Refer to Figure 1 for component identification.
Clean Nozzle and Air Cap:
Use the provided cleaning brush and needle to thoroughly clean the nozzle, air cap, and adjustable pipe. Ensure all paint residue is removed from the small holes and passages. Rinse with cleaning solution.

Figure 8: Thoroughly clean the nozzle and air cap after each use. Clean Container and Adjustable Pipe:
Wash the container and adjustable pipe with cleaning solution and a brush. Ensure no paint dries inside.
Check Air Filter Cap:
The air filter cap helps protect the machine from dust. Periodically check and clean the air filter to ensure proper airflow. Replace if damaged.
Reassemble and Store:
Once all components are clean and dry, reassemble the spray gun. Store it in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

9. User Tips
- Practice First: Always test your spray pattern and paint volume on a piece of cardboard or scrap material before starting your actual project. This helps you get a feel for the gun and fine-tune settings.
- Consistent Movement: Maintain a consistent distance and speed while spraying to achieve an even finish. Avoid flicking your wrist; instead, move your entire arm.
- Thinning is Key: The most common issue with spray guns is improper paint viscosity. Always follow the paint manufacturer's thinning recommendations and use the viscosity cup to ensure your paint is thin enough to spray smoothly without clogging.
- Clean Immediately: Do not let paint dry in the gun. Clean all components thoroughly immediately after each use to prevent clogs and ensure the gun is ready for your next project.
- Ventilation: Even with low VOC paints, good ventilation is crucial. Work outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, and always wear a respirator.
