6. Training Tips

For effective training with the T60 E-collar:

  • For dogs that are particularly naughty, it is recommended to start directly with the vibration or static stimulation mode.
  • Once the dog responds to vibration or static stimulation, they will gradually associate the beep sound with the correction. This allows you to transition to using the beep mode for training.
  • Eventually, you can switch to using only the beep mode to train your dog, as they will have learned to respond to it.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Waterproof Features

Both the remote and the collar are IPX7 waterproof, meaning they can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This allows for training in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and even during swimming or bathing.

  • Ensure the charging ports are dry before charging.
  • Store the devices in a cool, dry place when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ABBIDOT T60 Dog Training Collar, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Device not turning on: Ensure both the remote and collar are fully charged.
  • No response from collar: Check if the collar is properly fitted and the contact points are touching the dog's skin. Verify the remote and collar are paired (if applicable, though typically pre-paired).
  • Inconsistent stimulation: Adjust the collar fit. Ensure the contact points are clean and free of debris.
  • Short range: Ensure there are no major obstructions between the remote and collar. The maximum range is 4100ft (1250m) in open areas.
