Setup
1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully unpack all components. Ensure the following items are present:
- GPS Navigator Unit (5, 7, or 9 inch depending on model)
- Instruction Manual
- Data Cable (Mini USB)
- Car Charger (5V/2A)
- Suction Cup Bracket (or standard Bracket for 9-inch models)
- Clip
2. Mounting the Device
Attach the suction cup bracket to a clean, smooth surface on your dashboard or windshield. Ensure it does not obstruct your view of the road. Secure the GPS navigator onto the bracket.

3. Power Connection
Connect the car charger to the mini USB port on the GPS navigator and plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. The device will power on automatically or can be turned on using the power button.
4. Map Installation and Updates
Your device comes with pre-installed 2023 maps for Europe, Australia, or North America, depending on your selection. Free map updates are available. Refer to the 'Maintenance' section for details on updating maps.
5. Vehicle Type Setting
Upon first use or when changing vehicles, navigate to the settings menu to select your vehicle type (car, truck, bicycle, bus, ambulance, taxi, or walking). For trucks, input specific dimensions (length, width, height) and weight to enable intelligent truck routing, which avoids low bridges and restricted roads.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Navigation
- Address Search: Use the 'Address Search' function to input a destination by street name, city, or postcode/postal code.
- Find on Map: Browse the map directly to select a destination.
- Coordinate Search: Input specific GPS coordinates for precise locations.
- Places Search (POI): Search for Points of Interest such as gas stations, parking lots, restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets.

2. Voice Guidance and Warnings
The device provides natural voice guidance for turn-by-turn directions. It also issues warnings for speed limits, traffic cameras, hazardous materials, low bridges, and restricted intersections. This feature enhances driving safety by reducing the need to constantly look at the screen.

3. Intelligent Truck Route (for Truck Mode)
When 'Truck' is selected as the vehicle type, the GPS will automatically calculate routes that avoid restrictions based on the truck's dimensions and weight. This includes avoiding low bridges, weight-restricted roads, and other potential obstacles.

4. FM Transmitter Function
The built-in FM transmitter allows you to output navigation voice prompts and music directly to your car's stereo system. To use this feature:
- Go to the FM settings on your GPS device.
- Select an unused FM frequency (e.g., 76.5 MHz).
- Tune your car radio to the same FM frequency.
- Ensure the FM function on the navigator is ON. If the navigator has no sound, ensure FM is OFF or the car frequency is set correctly.

- Music Playback: Supports MP3/WMA formats.
- Video Playback: Supports MP4/AVI/3GP formats (up to 720p for 5-inch models).
- E-book: Supports TXT format.
- Photo: Supports JPG/GIF/BMP/PNG formats.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Device
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the device. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the screen or casing.
2. Battery Care
The device uses a rechargeable polymer lithium battery. To prolong battery life:
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.
- Charge the device regularly, but avoid overcharging.
- If storing the device for an extended period, ensure it has a partial charge (around 50%).
3. Map Updates
Your GPS navigator includes free map updates. Connect the device to a computer using the provided data cable and follow the instructions on the manufacturer's website or included software to download and install the latest map versions. Ensure you have a stable internet connection during the update process.
Troubleshooting
No Sound from Navigator
- Check FM Transmitter: If the FM transmitter function is enabled, ensure your car radio is tuned to the same frequency as the navigator. If you prefer sound directly from the navigator, disable the FM transmitter function in the settings.
- Volume Settings: Verify that the volume on the navigator is not muted or set too low.
GPS Signal Issues
- Open Sky: Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky to receive satellite signals. Obstructions like tall buildings, tunnels, or dense foliage can interfere with signal reception.
- No Network Required: Remember that the GPS signal reception does not require a 4G/5G network connection.
Device Freezes or is Unresponsive
- Soft Reset: Locate the reset button (often a small pinhole) and use a thin object (like a paperclip) to press it. This will perform a soft reset without losing data.
- Recharge Battery: Ensure the device has sufficient battery charge. Connect it to the car charger.

User Tips
- Map Region Selection: When purchasing or setting up, ensure you select the correct map region (e.g., North America, Europe, Australia) for your primary travel area. If you need maps for a specific country not explicitly listed, such as Sri Lanka or Brazil, please verify map availability with the seller or check for compatible third-party map options.
- North America Maps: For North America, select the 'North America Region' option during setup or map updates to ensure you have the correct geographical data.
- FM Transmitter Use: If you experience no sound, double-check that the FM transmitter is either correctly paired with your car radio's frequency or completely turned off if you prefer sound directly from the device.
