3. Compatibility
This remote control is 100% compatible with the following TELECO models:
- TELECO TXP-433-A01
- TELECO TXP-433-A02
- TELECO TXP-433-A04
Important Note:
This remote control is NOT compatible with TELECO TVTXP 868MHz grey shell models. Please verify your existing remote's frequency and model number before use.

4. Setup and Programming
To program your new Scimagic-RC remote control, follow these steps:
- **Access the Motor/Receiver:** Locate the programming button on your garage door motor or receiver unit.
- **Initiate Programming:** Press the programming button on your motor. The LED indicator on the motor will illuminate, signaling that it is in programming mode.
- **Program Remote:** Within a few seconds, press the desired button on your new Scimagic-RC remote control that you wish to assign to the garage door function.
- **Confirmation:** The opener light will flash, confirming that the programming was successful. The remote control is now ready for use.
To erase all codes from the receiver:
Hold the receiver's Learn button until the indicator light goes off (typically after 30 seconds). All previously learned codes will be erased.
Note:
It is crucial to have access to your garage door motor (receiver) for programming. If you do not have access to the motor, this remote control cannot be programmed.
5. Operating Instructions
Once programmed, operate your garage door by simply pressing the assigned button on the remote control. Ensure you are within the radio transmission distance (20-100m in open areas) for optimal performance.

The remote control comes with a base that can be fixed to a wall, allowing for easy removal and access.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
The remote control uses a CR2032 3V battery. When the remote's range decreases or it stops responding, it may be time to replace the battery. Follow these steps:
- Carefully open the remote control casing.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 3V battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the remote control casing securely.

7. Troubleshooting
- **Remote not responding after programming:**
- Ensure the battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge.
- Verify that the programming steps were followed precisely. Repeat the programming process if necessary.
- Confirm that your garage door motor (receiver) is functioning correctly.
- **Remote has reduced range:**
- Replace the battery (refer to Section 6.1).
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the receiver.
- Check for sources of radio interference in the area.
- **Remote not compatible:**
- This remote is specifically for 433MHz rolling code systems. It is not compatible with 868MHz systems (e.g., TELECO TVTXP 868MHz). Always verify the frequency and model of your original remote and receiver.
8. User Tips
- Always keep your remote control in a safe place to prevent accidental activation or loss.
- If you have multiple garage door openers, ensure each remote button is programmed to the correct opener.
- Consider mounting the remote's base near your garage door for convenient access and to prevent misplacement.
- Before purchasing, double-check the frequency and model number of your existing TELECO remote or receiver to ensure compatibility.
