5.3 Optional Rear Camera Installation

6.1 Basic Navigation

The device features an intuitive touch screen interface. Tap icons to access different functions such as Car Record, CarPlay, Android Auto, Settings, and BT Music.

6.2 Wireless CarPlay Connection

To connect your iPhone wirelessly via CarPlay:

  3. On the dash cam, go to the Android Auto interface.
  4. On your Android phone, look for the dash cam's Bluetooth name (e.g., TF781BT_4871130c) in the list of available devices and tap to pair.
  5. Confirm the pairing request on both devices.

6.4 AirPlay/Miracast Wireless Mirroring

To mirror your phone's screen to the dash cam:

  1. On the dash cam, go to Settings > System > Choose ScreenCast Mode.
  2. For iOS (AirPlay):
    1. Select Airplay on the dash cam.
    2. Connect your iPhone to the dash cam's WiFi network (e.g., "QCKJ_XXXX", password: 88888888).
    3. Open your iPhone's Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring.
    4. Select "Smartscreeen" from the list.
  3. For Android (Miracast):
    1. Select Miracast on the dash cam (Note: Google phones may not be supported).
    2. Open your Android phone's Control Center and tap Smart View (casting names may vary between phones).
    3. Select "Smartscreeen" from the list.
