The ANNKE C1200 camera supports various installation methods including ceiling, side, normal, and wall-mounted. Use the provided mounting screw bag to securely attach the camera to your desired location. Ensure the mounting surface is stable enough to support the camera's weight.
5.2 Power Supply and Network Connection
The camera can be powered and connected to your network using one of two methods:
- DC 12V Power Adapter (not included) and Network Cable: Plug the camera into an outlet using a DC 12V adapter and connect it to your router with a network cable.
- Power over Ethernet (PoE): If you have a PoE NVR or a PoE injector, you can transmit both data and power via a single PoE cable. This simplifies wiring and installation.

5.3 MicroSD Card Installation
The camera supports a built-in microSD/SDHC/SDXC slot for local storage, up to 512GB. To install a microSD card (not included):
- Locate the SD card slot on your camera (refer to Product Overview diagrams).
- Carefully insert the microSD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
- Ensure the waterproof lid is securely closed after installation to maintain IP67 rating.

- 100ft IR Night Vision Mode: By default, infrared lights are active at night, providing clear black and white images up to 30 meters (100ft).

- False Alarms:
- Adjust Motion Detection 2.0 sensitivity settings in the ANNKE app.
- Ensure the camera's field of view is clear of moving objects like tree branches or flags that might trigger alerts.
- Connectivity Issues:
- ONVIF Compatibility: The camera supports ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) Profile S, Profile T, and Profile G, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of NVRs and VMS. If you are having issues, ensure your NVR/VMS also supports these profiles and is up-to-date.
- PoE vs. WiFi: This camera is designed for wired IP/Network connectivity (PoE or standard Ethernet). It does not support direct WiFi connection. Ensure you are using a wired connection as specified.
- Poor Night Vision:
- Clean the camera lens and IR/white light emitters.
- Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the IR or white light.
- Check the night vision mode settings in the app (IR, Color, or Smart Dual-Light).
